Just when you think you don't have enough...
..then you've got too many! Too many shooting guards, that is.
Right now, players who have regularly logged minutes at the 2 are CJ Miles, Ronnie Brewer, Kyle Korver, and Mo Almond. We all know that Almond will be in the D-League for a while, but then that leaves 3 VERY capable players at the 2 that will all be killing each other for minutes.
Since Korver's been here, he's scored more points than minutes he's played... think about that. CJ is turning into a great 3-point shooter (46% on the season), and Ronnie rounding out his game, still scoring over 12 a game.
If you were building minute plans, what would you do with these guys to accommodate?
Personally, I think Korver should start at the 2, and then swing to the 3. The biggest loser on minutes should be Harpring, in my opinion, but you can't take minutes from AK without sliding him to another position to move somebody else to the 3.
URGH! I guess this is a good problem to have, but man... we need to get a good, defensive big or a good backup PG instead of having so much talent be forced to the bench.
