While it's probably a bit premature to think about the draft before the playoffs even start, what are the general positions that the Jazz might target?

I'd think that the 2/3/4 spots are all well-stocked, barring free agent departures, so would depth at point and center be best?

Ruff Draft

I think the center spot could be answered once and for all. The draft goes deep with several potentially good defenders at the 5. Utah desperately needs a shot-blocker. They answered the 3pt shooting.

DeVon Hardin could be catchign some nice alley-oops from Deron. Hasheem could be the big momnster behind Okur swatting guys into the 2nd row.

New Jazzy Nets

Trade the pick or draft a over seas guy to develop. Fes will hopefully be that big center we need next year maybe the Point could be upgraded well backup. Price looks to do a good job in the minutes he gets but we could always improve their. Any defender we would take.

Why trade the pick? It wouldn't really be worth much being so low in the first, despite the fact being quite deep. I agree with other suggestions the Jazz need a hardcore badass defender either on the wing or in the paint.

I think they already have those two pieces on the team with Brewer and Fesenko, but both of them will need time and experience to become great defenders, they have the potential to. It depends on whether the Jazz also have the time to develop those two, Fesenko more than Brewer obviously or if they go after someone who has been in the league for several years. Given the recent draft success of this franchise they might find another impact player in the draft.

Fesenko finished 7th in the D-League in blocks, at 1.92 per game, and 11th in rebounding at 7.7 per.
