Deron Williams Shows Guts, Waits On Glory
Quote:
The tattoos snaking down the lengths of Deron Williams' triceps read, "No Guts" on one arm, "No Glory" on the other.
The Utah Jazz's third-year point guard has gone most of his basketball career without the glory, his game and personality more suited to simplicity rather than style.
His moniker – D-Wills – hasn't joined the other royal shorthands of Kobe, King James, KG, T-Mac, Melo or D-Wade. Not yet anyway.
Compared to Laker Kobe Bryant, who might as well play his games in a full-length fur coat of glory, Williams is a longtime resident of basketball's shadows.
It's not the choice neighborhood in the sport ruled by one-man shows, self-aggrandizement and diamond-studded egos. But the low profile, even one carved out in the small media-market vacuum of Salt Lake City, fits this humble, team player.

Nice article here; the only thing that annoyed me was the fact that the writer said his nickname was "D-Wills" and not "D-Will".
