I haven't seen him play yet. Maybe I saw him but didn't know who it was. I will watch him next season though. Hope that he can have an impact on Jazz.

I don't think so, he's done nothing so far to show he has the ability to be a real contributor. On top of that he got in the dog house pretty good right before the playoffs with Sloan who benched him. I honestly thought they'd deal him in the offseason because of this. I think his days are numbered, I'd love to be wrong about this and him turn out great but it doesn't look like he will.

He said he plans on being the sixth man of the bench. Sloan has been impressed with his progress. he could ply a little PG too.

I think he will get a good chance this year to show what he can do. THe rest is up to him. He is the most experienced PG we have at the mo and may get more minutes there than SG where there is a logjam.
I think we'll see a good jump in his numbers this year.

Well, if D-Steve wants a new deal with the Jazz come next offseason, he's gonna have to kick it up a notch. I think he'll have his breakout year this year because we'll be more of an upbeat, fast break team. Him and the rest of his team should be fun to watch this year. Especially if he throws down some of his sick dunks with his mad hops.

There is still hope, for sure.
Remember, Jermaine ONeal was GARBAGE for 4 years...look at him now.
D-Steve might get some legit minutes this year, even if Maggette isn't matched by LAC.

Stevenson still has good potential, but his break-out year is way due...
I don't think he will ever be a good contributer with the Jazz. Sloan is the kind of coach who doesn't tolerate a few bad games from a starter.
If i remember correctly, D.Stevenson began last season in the starting 5, but after some bad games he slipped into a reserve role and then to Sloan's doghouse.
Maybe the Jazz should trade him, for he's not going to be of imediate help for the team...

Well he was compared to Michael Jordan coming out of highschool, but he's only 3 years in, and he hasn't got playing time, so maybe with playing time next year, he will break out.
