I think we picked up a hidden gem in Arroyo. I'm going to be watching closely this year to see how he and Stevenson do together.. When they got garbage time together they had some nice chemistry..

He did well last year in the WC's, and he's been tearing things up this summer.. definitely one to watch even for non-Jazz fans.

edit: his stats against the US in the exhibition game: 18pts, 7/13fgs, 2/2 3pt, 4 rebs, 4 assists, 4 steals.

I agree, I think everyone is assuming we have no decent point guard but I think Arroyo could shock the NBA by becoming a top caliber starter this year

I am looking forward to the number of blocks the front line gets with Kirilenko, Clark, and Ostertag.

Guards could be really quick.

We have a few other players that might also be interesting.

Add a top five draft pick next year and a free agent and VOILA...

This should be an entertaining season. I LIKE IT..

Yep. I don't have very high expectations, so if we do finish dead last in the league I wouldn't be real disappointed. I also wouldn't at all be surprised if we end up with the 10th best record in the conference.

I just hope we don't make a bad decision by making a trade for a high-priced player that's not going to do great things for us (i.e. Eddie Jones, though he's good).

I have to admit I was disappointed when we re-signed him, but he didn't really have much opportunity last year. What I saw of him was quite impressive, and his numbers against the US were excellent.

He certainly has the opportunity this year. Even if he can turn out to be of the calibre of an Eric Snow we've got a bargain.
