If the Jazz had to trade........
If the Jazz had an option to trade either Kirilenko or Harpring to get Jason Terry and you are the GM which do you trade or do you trade at all?

I'd trade Harpring but not AK.

Neither. harpring is a good hard worker who will be valuable later, and AK is IMO one of the building blocks of the future. If we have a crappy season this year, we can get a good big man in the draft and use the cap space to get a decent SG next season.

If i had to trade one it would be Harpring..I mean he is a good worker and all but you allready got AK to do what he does and AK does it better and the Jazz need a shooter/scorer..So i would do Terry for Harpring..

I wouldn't do the trade. Terry is a decent PG at best. He's good, but compared to the rest of the PG's, he's really not that special.
AK is special. The guy can defend. Harpring is a hard worker, and the Jazz needs someone like Harpring.

I won't trade either. Even more so Harpring is cheap, I doubt he gets back the same type of player for that type of money (MLE).

I guess we all see how much people like AK-47; not a single one of the 22 votes so far is for him.

I actually really doubt that Atlanta would be interested in either trade. I expect them to re-sign Terry.
Atlanta would definitely be more interested in Kirkilenko's upside, size, and cheap contract more than Harpring, though. Don't read too much into the whole "Harpring played his college ball in Atlanta" deal, NBA teams don't care where you played your college ball, it's not like local Atlanta residents are going to suddenly start buying season tickets if you acquire a former Tech player.
I do think that it's pretty shocking that Utah's starting PG at the moment is either Raul Lopez, Carlos Arroyo, or Mo Williams.
How about letting the Blazers dump the reasonably-priced Jeff McInnis on you for one of those two second round picks you just acquired from Sacramento? McInnis, he's nothing special, but he's a veteran, he's decent, he'd definitely start for this team, and you're getting him for nothing.

Yea I agree with you, but if we HAD to pick between AK or Harpring, I'd trade Harpring. AK is the future of the Jazz, plus there is Stevenson and Pavlo that can play SG for the Jazz. Plus they'll have a high pick in next year's draft and can easily replace him. Harpring would prolly become a fan favorite in ATL b/c he went to Georgia Tech.
