Jazz win big, but Sloan's unhappy

Quote:
BOISE -- Things must be going right for the Jazz, because Jerry Sloan is getting angry.
Jerry's Kids improved to 3-0 in the preseason on Tuesday, and for the first time won convincingly, holding the Knicks to just 37-percent shooting in an 81-65 victory in the Pavilion on the Boise State campus.
The Jazz held New York without a basket for nearly seven minutes. They reeled off 15 straight points. They forced 27 turnovers, allowed only one three-pointer in 12 attempts, and collected 16 steals, six by Andrei Kirilenko.
"Obviously, New York is a much better team than we are," grumbled Sloan.
Well, obviously.

Sloan defenetly knows what he is doing. His coaching ability is above average.

I agree. I think Sloan is the perfect coach for a rebuilding team. A no Bull**** attitude. IMO He has been underated his entire coaching career.

He is writes for ESPN magazine. It is still the preseason but I think the Jazz should win between 15 and 20 anything above that would be great, but me IMO I would rather see the Jazz get the ping pong balls for the lottery

It looks like we have another individual that should be a talent scout for the NBA, or at least write for SI regarding talent in the NBA

I don't know, the West is better than ever, and we freakin' SUCK.

Kirilenko, our best player, isn't even that good a scorer.

The only one who can fill it up consistently is Harp, and he's a 15ppg guy.

I feel a 10-71 season coming on.

Bring on Okafor!!!

I for one think Sloan is an AWESOME coach, I don't care if it's pre-season, to get what he's gotten out of this team so far is great. I do want a high lottery pick though so I hope he doesn't get them too good

How many preseason games came against east teams like the Knicks? The Knicks WERE without Allan Houston...
