TEAM WAIVES ALEXANDER
The Jazz made one cut Monday, waiving free-agent forward Demetrius Alexander.
Alexander appeared in four games for the Jazz, and scored 17 points in the first two preseason games.
But the 27-year-old Alabama grad missed all six of his shots in the next two games and did not play last Friday.
Still, the Jazz figure the 6-foot-8 forward could still develop into an NBA player.
"This was his first NBA camp and he did really well," said vice president of basketball operations Kevin O'Connor. "He's the kind of kid you've got to keep watching."
