Kirilenko gets a quintuple half-double
Stat line vs Knicks:
10 pts (4-12 FG, 2-2 FT)
12 Rebounds (6 def, 6 off)
6 assists
6 steals
5 blocks
That is a fantastic all-round game! OK, he coulda scored more, but how often do you see players get 5 or more in all 5 main categories? (6 if you split offensive/defensive rebounds!)
For info, he also had 3 TO and 4 PF
As an aside, Raul Lopez had 12 pts, 9*** and 9reb!

I think they call it a "5x5"
I read only 2 more players have got a 5x5 in the last 10 years, Divac and Tinsley.

Hmm, "quintuple half-double" is rather unwieldy...

How on earth did Tinsley get 5 blocks?? Surely that must have been turnovers??

Kirilenko has been impressive so far... But please give some credit to Raul Lopez... 12, 9, 9 for a guy who has not played a game for almost 2 years... I'm sure he will be a excelent replacement for Stock's legacy

Quintuple? Did you accidently screw up on the word or do you think thats the way it's spelt? Correction: Quadruple
Anyways, I see this dude as a top 4 candidate for Most Improved Player.

No, he said what he meant and what was correct -- quintuple.

For the second time in a week, Kirilenko managed a statistical feat that had been accomplished only twice before in the past decade: He collected five or more in each of the five positive categories (points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks).

AK is the man. He is going to make the all star game this year. Anybody think he could get a quadruple double sometime in his career. If he keeps improving, i say he could

Wade accomplished this in two consecutive series in the 2005 playoffs.
2. Joined Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, and Allen Iverson as the only players ever to record games of 40+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 15+ assists in the same playoff season in 2005.

The last record was held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 63%. Wade accomplished it with less than 20 field goal attempts per game
4. Fifth player in NBA history with at least 30 points, 15 assists and 5 rebounds in a playoff game (5/10/05 vs. WAS). The others are Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Walt Frazier and Oscar Robertson.
5. One of four players in NBA history to have at least 30 points and 12 assists in three consecutive games (November 24-27, 2006). The others are Oscar Robertson, Nate Archibald, and Kevin Johnson. [5]

They actually keep going up, I think the stopping point is around 12 or so (though there are more names for specific numbers after 12 I believe); quintuple, sextuple, septuple, octuple ... forget exactly after that.
