Ben Handlogten left the team Wednesday morning when he got word that his wife, Danielle, had gone into labor with the couple's third child in Boston.
Michael Handlogten, an eight-pound, nine-ounce boy, was born at 7 p.m., or just before game time. Mother and child are doing well, and Handlogten expects to rejoin the team for Friday's game in, coincidentally, Boston.
