Playoffs

If the Jazz make the playoffs it should be considered the biggest "upset" in the history of the NBA They hold the 8th spot right now, just ahead of Denver & Portland.

GO JAZZ, GO JAZZ, GO - GO - GO JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!

While I don't know if it'd be the biggest upset ever, it certainly would be up there. Most called for them to be one of if not the worst team in the league, and even the super optimists didn't seem to consider them a playoff contender -- and all that was with Harping actually playing! I really hope they make it, as they are a very fun team to watch, especially with the quintuple-double waiting to happen named AK-47.

If they hold onto the eighth seed I think alot of people and media would be surprised. It's amazing what they are doing when other teams have more talent but can't get their act together.

I dont think it was lack of talent, every one of them just neede an opportunity, Arroyo will be very good, Lopez also, Raja is a good player, Kiri stepped it up this season and Giricek finally is getting the ball, plus I really like Mo Williams. Now they need some inside presence. And trade one of the PGs, Arroyo or Lopez.

I think this team is talented and you're right some of the players really succeed in this system more than when they played with other teams. I think that is the reason why they are winning. Other teams have talented players but have losing records because they don't fit into the system or they don't agree with the coach.

I think Portland gets it. They have an easier schedule. And if we lose to the Sonics tonight then we are in big trouble.

Memphis fan here, we will gladly take Lopez off your hands.

Sloan has a very good shot at coach of the year, but I think Hubie will talke it if the Grizz win a series, which isn't that far from happening.
Congratulations on a great year.

How about Lopez and a couple of picks( a first next in 2006 and a 2nd in 2005 or something like that) for Stro and a filler guard.

How does portland have an easier schedule? Look at the schedule more carefully.

The race for the 8th spot is going to be tight. The Blazers won tonight and have been playing well in general.

The Jazz need to hang on and prove everyone wrong : ) Denver is in a funk so that helps.

If Jazz beat Spurs tonight, chances are very good for you Jazz fans for the 8th spot in the Western Conference. Beating a champ team will not only gives a huge boast but raise the morale of the team as well.

I'm afraid not so.

I like Jerry Sloan but this year belongs to Hubie Brown.

Tonight's win over the Clips puts them in 9th. It is going to be a very close three-way race.
