One good thing about the season
A really good thing about our suprise season is that people like me in PA will get to see some more nationally telivised Jazz games. We only had one this year at Golden State. The way we played, we should at least get 5 next season. I also expect to see the Grizzlies and Knicks more, hopefully the Magic and 76ers less...

There's other plus points as well. We've learned that we don't need superstars to play well (although AK47 is almost a superstar now anyway). Arroyo, Bell, Lopez and Mo all had really good seasons.
Also, despite being the best team not in the playoffs, we are in a better position than, say, Boston. Although we have a better record, we get a higher pick in the Lotto, whereas they are going nowhere in the playoffs anyway.

A lot of people on this board have said that they wish they could see more of Kirilenko.. we had some games on NBATV, but not everyone gets that.
They'll be sure to get a couple more next year, especially if they solidify the team with a quality FA or two, like people think they will. I really hope we get the Stro-show.. he'd be a great fit here. He's a bit lazy but I'm sure that's a habit Sloan could kick.. he's got worlds of talent.

Blazers are a much better team than the jazz my friend!!!
if the Blazers had ratliff, Miles, Rahim and a healthy DA....denver wouldnt be in the playoffs and neither would the jazz......blazers are a better team than the jazz plain and simple!!!
think about it...and be honest!!!

thinking about it...
we need a center. not that good, just a center
get rid of lopez, i cant see him as a succesful starter, I even dislike him as a backup ( he is playing good tonight, after he flushed last game )
and get Mo more playing time

I wouldn't expect anything less from a Blazer fan, but being more talented doesn't mean better.

You do have all those players and you're not in the playoffs. I don't understand you.
The best way to measure how good a team is, is by looking at the end of season standings. That tells me that Utah were the better team THIS SEASON.
Teams are judged on performance, not on skill, ability, or potential.
Think about it...and be honest!!!

The Jazz beat a LOT of teams that didn't expect them to this year, the BLAZERS did not make the playoffs, I predicted it before the season began and Blazers fans had a fit, well I was right, think about it.
The Blazers held their own destiny in their hands when the played the Nuggets the other night and yet, they choked, think about it!

I could just as easily say that if we had a healthy Harpring in the lineup that WE would have been in the playoffs. We whipped the Blazers' butts with that lineup...remember?
It's all speculation. Face it - the Blazers are not in the playoffs. And neither are the Jazz. Time to start thinking about next year.
