I am a bulls fan now and forever. However, after posting initially on the bulls forum and only occasionally looking in on the jazz, my stomach cant take anymore of the bulls fans. Bulls fans, at least a majority, that post live in a la-la land where every rookie and every coach produces jordan like results after their first season. They feel that when a player can dunk from the three point line (Eddie Robinson) they should give him 7 million per year.
The jazz are the antithesis of the bulls. The jazz live in reality where you invest time and energy in rookies by having them ride the bench and get clean up minutes while they learn the game. They are a team where the coach is in charge and the front office backs up the coach and not a team where when the players cry and dont play as a team the coach is canned after a year or two. On the jazz, athletic ability is not as important as running the offense and playing team ball.
I am liking the jazz and most posters on the jazz forum, except those that feel that the jazz should keep ostertag for more than 2 million a year.
I am hearing more and more in the media on how the NBA is losing fans and in so doing losing money. All that needs to be done is to watch a jazz game, watch how a coach coaches and a team playes within the team. Then people would get excited again.
