utah jazz needs to rebiuld aound stockton and malone

utah jazz need to rebiuld around stockton amd malone.12 and 32 still have what it takes to bring home that ring.check out their stats for the whole year.they are still breaking records.face it there would be no utah jazz with out 12 nand 32. they need a team effort to work with them .they have to make some changes .first and formost they have to get a new center and exchange some (it doesnt matter if we win or not)players for some(we will win) players.

Thumbs up

I agree Jazzchic1232!! All Jazz need is a center. 12 and 32 had great years last year. Sure they are gettin old but they are in great shape and like u said just look at their stats they were very good.

Lets see here is who to get rid:
1. Tag. he is just awful. poor excuse for a center. He has great size but he is so unskilled.
2. Ameichi = worse than Tag
3. Russell- used to be good but I think he has lost it. His best days are behind him. Id rather see Deshawn Stevenson play more.
4. Starks= loved him on my Knicks but he is over the hill I think.
5. Quincy Lewis= He is ok but I think u can do better than Q.
6. Padgett= ugh.. nuff said.
One key free agent to resign is Donyell Marhsall. He is a terrfific rebounder and can shoot the 3 and score inside and block shots. I love Donyell's game.

I think they should resing Donyell, get a nice new young draft pick like Haislip,Frank Williams, or dan Gadzuric or even Sam Clancy. sign a good free agent and there u go.. I like Jarron Collins potential at center too. give 12 and 32 one more go at it with some better players.

I couldn't have more respect for both Malone and Stockton, but it seems like now may be the time for the Jazz to look to something new. Their run was outstanding, with only one thing missing.

Only by going in a different direction and maybe seeing Stcok and Malone on different teams will we ever see them get a ring

who would want them anyways

Malone cries every fricking year about wanting to be traded, yet, he is the reason he is still in Utah, his contract is way to high for his age, and not many teams want to take on his salary at this stage of his game, Sure he can still play with the best of them, but unless he is willing to restructure his hefty price tag, he will retire a ringless jazz.........oh, someone could start a side buisness at the games selling things like viagra, canes, false teeth and stuff like that........

I disagree. Build around Stockton and Malone? I'd say think for the future and they will have to go trough what the Bulls, LA Clippers and the Washington Wizards have done. Stockton and Malone re-building around them will get them no where, they need to just stay put and get young stars.

They need to be a lottery team for a few years and then be back on the right track IMO.

i disagree too. don't get me wrong, i'm Stock and Malone's biggest fan and i still think they're the greatest players in the world, but they're way too old to build around. you wanna build around players that are young and are gonna be around for a while. you don't wanna build around two 40 year olds (i know Karl's younger but you get the drift). Utah can try to aquire a good center and SG and make one last push for a ring, but i wouldn't try to build an entire team around Stock and Malone because they won't be here for a long time .
