Would Utah be willing to trade their 14th or 16th pick for him?

Personally I'm very fond of Boki, he's really stepped up his game in the latter part of the season, and I think he'll thrive under the Utah system with Jerry Sloan. But in Houston he's yet to find his place, and we'd be happy to pick up a PG in this year's draft (most likely Jameer Nelson). Personally I think it'll be a great trade for you guys, Boki was the 15th pick in the 2002 draft, and still has great potential. Thoughts?

I think the jazz would be interested, however if he was the 15th taken and he has yet to really crack the lineup then I think you would only get the 16 or 21 pick for it. All I needed to see from him was that time he took out Karl Malone in the playoffs. Gotta love a guy who does that.

I think Boki could be a legitimate offensive threat, but I don't know where the Jazz have space for him on their roster - we are bogged down with SG/SF's. Between Bell, Giricek, Pavlovic, Williams, Kirilenko, Harpring, there isn't a lot of playing time to be had, and I doubt Boki would be able to crack the rotation ahead of even Bell, who we need for his aggressiveness and toughness, let alone AK and Harp..

Definitely interesting though, it would probably depend on who we resign or don't (Giricek) and who we expose to the expansion draft or don't (Pavlovic).

I doubt the Jazz have any interest in him. he's a foreign player who doesnt play much defense. the Jazz already have Sasha Povlovic for that.

and no way they give up a first round pick for him, unless there is a future first round pick involved.

doesn't play defense? I think u got Boki mixed up with some other Dirk-prototype Euros... Boki's put in specifically for defensive purposes this year, and no one will question his toughness after taking it to Malone in the playoffs

Nach's good but he isn't the defender or prospect Monya is, and the Jazz seem locked into drafting Monya.

I also think one or two of their picks might go to say portland in trade for Theo Ratliff.

Monya, Andre, Ratliff, that would be one hell of a defensive lineup.
