Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
At home, Audio Technica ATH-AD900, which are so big they almost come down to my jaw.
Outside, Yuin PK3. They're plain black $50 earbuds that sound a lot better than the ipod buds, and almost as good as the Koss KSC-75's (which are about $15 but, while portable, aren't very convenient if you're doing anything other than sitting down). |

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
My proper headphones I have 2 pairs of Skullcandy, one was on sale, and I snapped them up, and one came free with my phone so I got them.
Earphones, I use JVC ones that have the thing that goes over the top of your ear, because I find normal ones just fall out of my ears. There's mine actually. I have long enough hair so I don't look too dorky with the ear clip parts. I'd really like some Dr Dre Beats just for the look, but they're just a ridiculous amount of money for headphones.

![]() I'm glad JVC finally stepped in and found a solution to the British ear problem. Must have been hard for you poor big eared *******s before the great ear clip innovation was invented.

Sennheiser HD-555
Others have not been very impressive. Haven't had Grados yet, though.

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
I really need to get a new pair. I listen to my MP3 player a ton when I'm working out, so I need headphones that allow me to do so. I want actual buds though. Any suggestions?

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
I commute to NYC every day, so I got a new pair of Sony MDR-V6's the other week. Fantastic sound, but it ****ing KILLS my left ear. Excruciating pain. Definitely returning those to Amazon. Because of this, I'm finally dipping into earbuds, which I haven't used in like a decade. They were never comfortable for me, but I'm hoping there have been plenty of comfort advances since then.
Probably choosing between Klipsch IMAGE S4, Etymotic ER6i, Thinksound Rain, and Shure E2c.

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
i've considered getting a pair of grados, either the ones pdb has or the next model higher up. I'm not sure if i am astute enough to notice the different to bother going to the higher model.

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
I've had some slightly higher end headphones and I guess it's like that 80/20 20/80 rule. Takes 20% to achieve 80% and 80% to achieve that final 20%.
Also for headphones and such it's really hard to define 'better' but when my headphones broke and I went back to those iPod buds I noticed the difference and it was like eating taco bell burritos after hitting up the best burrito place in your area. |

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
So, I ended up returning the MDR-V6's. I use the Klipsch Image S4's (with Comply Tx-100 foam tips) for my bus/subway ride, Koss PortaPro's at work, and Koss KSC75's at the gym. Pretty happy with the S4's and PortaPro's, but probably going to search for a set of phones with better sound quality for the gym.

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
I have three-
Grado SR60's- use these for home and the rare times I'm in the office Koss KSC-75- most versatile pair, use these for general use when outside noise isn't much of an issue Sony MDR-EX71SL- I use these for the gym and airplanes mainly

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
Just got a pair of these as a Christmas present
http://www.amazon.com/Bowers-Wilkins.../dp/B003IHUHGE Awesome and not to big! They are so nice though I'm scared to damage them. Thinking I'm going to put the Grado's on eBay, though they have served me very well.

Re: What ear/head phones do you use?
Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds FTW! (IMO)
They have pretty decent sound quality, they are very comfortable for me, they are inexpensive (versus "cheap"), and my experience has been that they are really durable.
