I have a pair of earbuds that came with my Dell XPS laptop that turned out to be quite nice. Other than that I have a pair of Bose noise canceling on ear's, although I rarely use them anymore.

I have these for home. Even though it folds and comes with a case, I don't like traveling with them. I use Apple ear buds when I am on the go.

You should buy a new pair, at the very least. those apple buds aren't good for your ears.
