Re: Skyrim Thread
If you finish all thieves guild quests without being detected by anyone, you get a hidden quest where you have to take down Kaman, the giant lord of Winterhelm.
I'd never expect the guys at Bethesda to be huge ball fans. That's pretty awesome.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Copped this for my Pops. Might roll a few hours out myself over the festive period to try and get a feel for it.
I miss getting lost in games (ala Final Fantasy VII)

Re: Skyrim Thread
****. I've played so much in two days it seems and I'm a level 8.
Why? Because I'm so ****ing stubborn and have to leave no stone unturned. Love this game though.. crazy. I need to step my smithing game up though.. cause my guy is getting pimpslapped by a couple enemies. That frost Troll on my way to the graybeards ****ed my shit up.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Smithing is easy to level up bro. You'll be wearing dragon armor in no time, and then Daedric once you find some daedra hearts.

Re: Skyrim Thread
If you max out smithing and enchanting, the game is pretty much over. No one can touch you with fully decked out Daedric gear.
I one shotted a dragon bro. It was crazy.

Re: Skyrim Thread
You can turn up combat difficulty, if you want. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've done the whole superman thing with heavy armor in previous Elder Scrolls games, so I'm not judging. Just saying.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Smithing is super easy to level up. Just make tons and tons of iron daggers or leather bracers, easiest materials to get your hands on, and voila. Im at level 70 smithing now and just got full Glass armor set.
Wood elf is now level 17 - but ive got a fair bit of the main quest to get through. Only just up to the part where I need to sneak into the Thalmor embassy.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Nice gameplay and story, but don´t try the game on PS3 - bad graphic...

Re: Skyrim Thread
I lied. My sword does 406 base damage with 31 extra for fire and 31 extra for shock.
And my armor rating clocks in at 747.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Yea, all these games (Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim) run terrible on the PS3 for some reason.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Only played 45 mins so far, but I'm enjoying it. Not much I can really say yet though, aside from the graphics being beautiful. I chose wood elf, we'll see how many times I change.
