Nope. Don't want to spoil how you get it, but it is a staff that you get at the end of a quest from one of the God's in disguise. Beastly.

Oh. If I did it I probably sold it. I never use staffs.

It summons a deadric warrior who is awesome.

Pretty much I only use it to summon him and then go back to destruction/one-hand.

I just found a talking dog outside of Falkreath. I guess he wants me to go on some quest with him. I lost the other dog, but it was a pain in the ass trying to keep him from getting lost and he was always in the way. He was really useful since the enemies would spend a lot of time attacking him instead of you though. I wonder if I could have had both of them and a follower.

The dog quest you're about to do is worthwhile. I used the equipment you get from it for quite a while.

I had a dog but kept accidently one shot killing him when fighting enemies. Then I'd feel bad so I'd have to go back to a previous save. I finally told him to go home.

Ive been avoiding the main quest line, and just doing random quests and levelling. Only at level 19 at the moment though.

This game is so damn long. Holy shit. Its so long that i've forgotten most of the story any just take up and quest that im offered. Loving it though.

Crazy how much time of your life you run through by doing a couple side quests. I can easily spend 8 hours on the game, not really do much, and not realise.

Right??? Spent several hours today.. did one misc. quest and one random quest.. spent most of the time getting off track and exploring a new dungeon that I would come by. Actually ran through 4 or 5 dungeons/caves today and found a boat load of loot. Had to fast travel to my house and back just to carry it all since myself and my follower were full up. Nuts.

I'm looking at doing a Necromancer/Warrior type. Specialising in Conjuration/One Hand Weapons/Heavy Armor/Smithing/Enchanting/Archery.

What race is best for this? Does it matter?

From what I can tell - High Elf or Breton seem the best.
