Re: Skyrim Thread
It really seems like I've played it more than my save file says. 38 hours, level 32. I do save my game then go round killing whole towns for no reason however, so that's probably a couple of hours.

Re: Skyrim Thread
My problem is my continuous habit to reroll without going anywhere
![]() I may finally be settled on a character though. I've played for hours and done the same shit every time!

Re: Skyrim Thread
I got up to about level 54. The way I played however I was only going to gain about 1 or 2 more levels without going out my way(and by going out my way I mean pointless grinding). I maxed out every skill I normally use and went ahead and did that Infinium book glitch. Hasn't killed the game for me and the only thing I really got outta it was the extra HP. Magic never mattered because of my enchanted armor to reduce magicka use. I finished the main quest and still have to do the Dark Brotherhood questline next.

Re: Skyrim Thread
This new character is level 40, and I haven't completed one whole quest line yet. The farthest I am in a story line is JUST getting the Nightingale Armor... because it is pimp as hell. I got to level 40 so much faster than my last character (level 49)... Very different play style this time. Using magic a whole lot more... a lot more restoration, a lot more alchemy, more focus on enchanting.. I used two handed weapons and heavy armor the whole time until I finally got the Nightingale Armor, so both of those categories are about 25 levels higher than they ever were in the last game.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Downloaded this for my new PC to see what it looks like maxed out. Game looks ridiculous. I can start to see where these computer snobs are coming from.
Played as an Orc on my 360 playthrough, going with an Argonian this time around. I already had some bitch call me a lizard before she tried to cut my head off. Feeling the videogame racism. Trying to play around a bit with a bow as well since I refuse to use magic but always play with a sword. Switch it up a bit. There's a bunch of mods on steam you can download and more coming out every day. Pretty sure I'll sink a ton of time into this game all over again.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Actually enjoying rocking a bow so far. Seems like a way easier way to skulk around and get critical damage while sneaking.

Re: Skyrim Thread
you can really cheat your ass off using the PC console commands. The most useful thing is to cheat with the carry weight, but I create items so I can learn the most useful enchantments too.

Re: Skyrim Thread
Haven't done any of that shit yet. But I picked up a few of the top mods on steam. Can now make weapons out of mammoth tusk, and dragon bone weapons. I can tell these mods are going to add a ton of time to this game.

Re: Skyrim Thread
^ Hasn't happened to me - although would be helpful for collecting dragon scales/bones
![]() I haven't played for a few weeks. Need to rectify that.
