Re: Steam

XCOM has been pretty fun so far. It does a good job of capturing the amazingness that was the original.

To do a whole bunch of work to level up a solider, just to have him die is infuriating.

Its ridiculous that there is no unit stacking. Especially defensively within a city! Who wants to look out on the countryside and see a pikeman in every tile.

HEY Help. Need help now.

Real quick, what would you improve about Steam? I don't use it enough to find a lot of faults. Faster DL speed? Dunno?

Better friends list?

I don't have anyone on there other than Deano. Would be nice if you could find local people I guess in some sort of search function, or tie it into your facebook.

That's just searching for complaints though. Steam works well for what I use it for.

Re: Steam

Speaking of steam, I hooked my PC up to my 70 inch and hooked up a wireless 360 control. Man, having maxed out games are ridiculous.

It makes some shit look next gen.

Good stuff, wrote those down.

You or anyone have any other wishes about Steam, throw it at me please. The more the better.

BTW how do yall fit all these games on your computer? Do you just keep deleting old ones? They sell like a half dozen at a time, and I can fit like 2 games on my i3.

Re: Steam

I bought Football Manager 13 a couple weeks ago. Probably should have waited for the Cyber Monday sale. I hate the game; I think it's the worst FM ever, but hopefully it gets a lot better with the patches.

Yeah, Steam has big holiday sales. Can't guarantee Cyber Monday, but sometime in the next month and a half.

With steam, i only keep a couple games installed at anytime. It's mostly because I want to keep games I play a lot on my SSD, which is relatively small and steam only lets me install games in 1 location. If i could keep just the 1 or 2 games i play on the most on my ssd, and store the rest their HDD, that would be ideal

You mean moving the install file to an external HD?

Steam doesn't have install files, if I remember. They dl the game right to your internal drive right?

If your hard drives are setup for RAID I think you can get it to treat multiple hard drives like its one.

i still wouldnt have the ability to control which games are on which drive. steam installs games to a single directory only.
