Gerald Green got injured, now he's mad at me about playing time? **** you, I'll trade you.

Then Augustine pull the same shit so I traded him to OKC for Lamb.

Anyone else played MyTeam? I think it sucks. Somehow my win-loss record got reset (was 4-3, now I'm back to 1-0), you don't get points for winning games, you actually lose VC playing a game and winning it because you have to pay players a "salary", no one even attempts to rebound, offensive rebounds are cheese, fouls are ridiculous, it's impossible to make shots inside and too easy to knock them down from the mid range, the ball flies right through players' hands, etc.

Sometimes I wonder who made this ****ing game. I wish I could meet them in real life and ask them a few questions.

MyTeam seemed like a ridiculous concept when I was looking through it. It's cool to build your own team and everything, but either you spend money and get VC, or you play the hell out of the game to get a player or two that's actually decent, and all for...what exactly?

I love the gameplay this year. It's by far the best of any 2k game, ever. I just wish they'd focused more on improving MyPlayer instead of giving it a new name and making MyTeam and VC bullshit, or fixed some of the problems with the Association mode.

Speaking of MyPlayer/MyCareer, there is no point at all in playing the damn games. You can play an exhibition game and get 750 VC for a playing bonus, and in MyPlayer/MyCareer, you can have the game of your life and break like 7 personal records, and you won't get that much. More often than not, you'll get like 70.

I just play association and I love it.

Played a game against the Magic today and any time Harrington was open he shot a 3. He ended the game like 1-15 from behind the arc. It got to the point where the announcer was like "What is this guy doing? Harrington has missed almost every shot from behind the arc and still keeps letting them fly." They even brought it up on the halftime report. Hilarious.

Then the next game Gerald Green is back and ready to play, and still mad I didn't give him enough burn when he was injured. I play him for like 30 minutes, he's the leading scorer. About 3 times when he drove the lane and had contract he'd hang back and complain to the ref. One time he just rolled around on the ground after a dunk while the other team was already at half court, looking to Dwyane himself a fake call. At the end of the game his attitude is even worse, so he now plays for the Cavaliers. Traded him for Tristian Thompson.


I didn't view last years game as an upgrade, but this year I'm loving it. I've only had it for about 24 hours and have already played 6 games with 10 minute quarters.

I love it also. But some of the ratings just dont make sense. Nate Robinson is a 79..Adam Morrison has higher potential ratings then most of the guy drafted in the top 20 this year

Really wish they would give the rookies from this year draft better potential and more stars

Yep. I went to go trade for Drummond and he's like the worst player in the league. I'm pretty sure it says "**** this guy" under his potential rating. I mean I can get him not being good now, but he's like a C or D on potential.

That being said, I did trade for the Lamb brothers. Doubt Doron is going to play, but Jeremy is great. He comes off the bench for both guard spots and I could put him in at the 3 too.


One weird thing is that Hibbert is averaging like 4 rebounds a game right now. He just doesn't rebound for shit and its getting pretty ridiculous.

I almost always exclusively play Association as well, but by the year 2020 there are too many random players in the league. I need to find some good real/fictional draft classes.

I've got Drummond in 2019 and he's only an 82, but he's a lot stronger and more athletic than an old as shit Hibbert so it was an upgrade for me.

I've never got past a few seasons in a 2K game.

One year I played 2 seasons and that was a whole 82 game season with full playoffs, on 12 minute quarters.


Austin Croshere won MVP and improved to a 93 overall. It was an awesome time. Tinsley was throwing out assists everywhere, JO was shutting people down and grabbing like 20 boards a game, and Jon Bender was dunking on everyone in the league.

Oh, I only play elimination games in the Playoffs. Gotta love it when I have the best regular season record and somehow get down 3-1 in the first round.

Don't worry. They'll fix a bunch of those ratings a few weeks into the season. Like, for instance, Lance Stephenson is just worthless with his 35 in 3-point shooting. He knocked down 2 last night, yet in the game, any 3 he takes is an F shot. Since he's a guard, it makes it impossible to play with him because defenders sag off you worse than they do Rondo.
