Got this just in time. LeBron and Durant teamed up on the Mavs about 6 years down the road in NBA 2k12....I beat them in the regular season since my player was pretty amazing by then, but in a playoff series? Yikes.

I started up an association with several classic players and teams replacing their modern-day versions. Like the 01 Sixers replacing the current Sixers, 02 Kings > current Kings, 95 Magic > current Magic, and a couple more. Had the 96 Sonics in there too (replaced the Hornets after I divied up their useful players to other teams). I was the Bulls with 89 Jordan and Pippen, Horace Grant, and some other guys. Season 1, unremarkable, we win the title. Whatever. After that season, Magic-era Shaq becomes a free agent, and I have the cap room to sign him. And I do. The following season I only won like 58 games, after my chemistry got messed up thanks to a couple of vets who got cheesed off about their roles. But the next season, the third in the association, we go 76-6, and we were on a 38 game win streak to the end the regular season. Swept the playoffs. I only played the championship clincher. Not bad.

Just thought I'd share.

Starting Tuesday though this game will take a back seat for a little while, due to Halo 4.

Please do. Every other draft class I've tried outputs like 20 90-rated players 5 years in. You can get 3 star prospects at the end of the second round in some of these classes.

So i drafted a team to just sim 5+ years and see what happens. After 5 years of just messing around and simming:

PG R.Rubio 95 14 5 10 2
SG B.Knight 97 24 4 4 2
SF J.Vesley 95 17 7 5 2 2
PF D.Cousin 98 24 12
C E.Katner 93 16 11 2

Run n Gun offense and score about 120 a game....

This is after hiring best coaching i can and giving using untapped potential on Knight and Vesley

Going to get this soon, really hoping I can find it on Amazon for 40 bones in the near future. It's not like I don't have the other $20, but I feel like I've already waited this long so the joke would really be on me if I bought it tomorrow for full price after wasting a month+ already.

I've had a similar experience. I'm having trouble finding facial models on some of the guys. I don't have the patience to get those right.

When you wear Nike+ shoes your vertical shows up on replays if you dunk. It's pretty cool.

I played the Celtics today, fun game. I guess they decided to make some old person super team. They had Rip, Grant Hill, and Odom. Odom kept trying to play point forward and basically said F U to Rondo whenever he was on the court, it was awesome.

I gave them all free tickets to the Paul George Show.
