Re: NBA 2K13
Which makes it real hard for me to justify this purchase.
I may sit it out this year. Is this because Reggie won't sign off or what? Because it pisses me off.

Re: NBA 2K13
Seems like they had other priorities this year, they lost some Legends. I think Iverson might have cost a great deal of cash......... not surprising. I'm blaming him for 2k nearly losing Pippen.

Re: NBA 2K13
As awful as Live was at least it was something to keep 2K on it's toes a bit. 2K gameplay has turned pretty ordinary IMO, don't know in what world where you go for a steal somehow you slowly end up on the other side of the court.

Re: NBA 2K13
I read in Game Informer Jay-Z got Barkley to get on the dream team but apparently no dice on the legend aspect...Barkley apparently has some kind of resistance to it...mind you he was one of the players in the 90s along with Jordan that you couldn't play in the game
That had to suck BTW imagine having to create LeBron or Kobe in every game |

Re: NBA 2K13
Barkley I guess has a problem with the way the NBA treats older players. What that has to do with letting his likeness be used in a video game by third-party developers I have no idea.

Re: NBA 2K13
Like I said he wasn't even in some of the games in the 90s either so it's probably something else...I'm sure he talks about it somewhere on the internets
And 2k is basically an NBA product, so even if technically it's third party if he feels some kind of way about that issue a protest of not supporting (pretty much at this point) the league's official video game makes sense ![]() I'm sure the NBA and NBPA gets some kind of change off that, if not just the license through sales somehow |

Re: NBA 2K13
Picked it up this morning. LeBron owns this game. Simple as that.
One observation I've made though is that the fast break game seems to run a lot more smoothly. Not that it was a problem in past games, but it feels especially fluid and realistic this time around. |

Another problem I had on the fastbreak was the AI intercepting every pass or deflecting every alley-oop. I'm assuming the introduction of the bounce pass will solve all this. I'll probably get it later today. If I have time to play, I'll give my opinions.

Re: NBA 2K13
Switched back to the old right stick control and have improved. I did some of the training camp mode to try out some of the moves, but the sticks are just too sensitive. I'll probably just use the stick for crossovers.
Also, the spin move jumpers, layups, and dunks are unstoppable. And when I can get the floater to work, it's pretty good.

Re: NBA 2K13
I don't think I'm getting a physical disc this year. I think I'm going for the download only.
