Simple enough. If you've recently finished a game and want to speak on it, here's the thread to do so and rate it.

DarkSiders II (PC) 8/10

Good game. I've heard it compared to as a darker Zelda.

-About 50/50 of action and platforming. Both are done quite well.

-Lots of puzzles in the various dungeons, which make you think, but its never dick head hard where you get angry about it.

-Good RPG elements. There's lots of chests hidden around, and enemies drop random loot as well. Feeling kind of Diabloish in that area. You can also upgrade your weapons which is something I love doing in games. There's a skill tree as well, but I only ever really used one of the skills.

-Huge open world game. Has a Castlevania/Metroid type feeling where there's area's you can't get to from the get go, but once you get certain equipment or skills, you can go back and explore new areas.

-Surprisingly enjoyable story and great soundtrack. Graphics are ok but nothing to write home about.

Took me about 28 hours to finish. Never frustrating, but also never seemed like a cake walk either. Right around the perfect length for a game this type.
All in all a very fun game to play.

Recommended.

Batman: Arkham City (9/10)

Awesome, awesome game. Pretty good storyline with some nice little twists. Being able to jump back-and-forth as Batman & Catwoman was cool (I had the Game of The Year Version.) Beautiful graphics as well. I'm going back to do the side missions seeing I really ignored doing most of them.

Hard to compare it to something else. The latest is an open world like Grand Theft Auto, with tighter combat and a bunch of gadgets to use. Less overall freedom though.

They're very good games.

Homefront - It kind of just ended. No big closing sequence. No nothing. I fought my way up onto a bridge and then sniped a few Zonks and it was over.

I only thought I was about half way through the game.

Dishonored (360) 7/10

I struggled to want to play this game, and only seemed to log decent minutes in it when I was half cut. That's strange because it feels very Bioshocky, and that's one of my favorite games of all time, and probably my favorite atmosphere. I just didn't care about the story or the characters. Nothings explained either. Halfway through the game there's these plants that just show up out of nowhere and they shoot shit at you. Why? There's a ton of books I could read to figure out maybe, but why should I have to do that? In Bioshock they either explained it, or it just made sense.

Anyways, not a bad game by any means, I'm just glad I finished it so I can sell it and move on to other games. I hardly ever finish games anymore, so I pathetically feel like I actually accomplished something today.

Batman Arkham City: GOTY Edition (9/10)

God damn. Just a really fun game with a nice story. I played Arkham Asylum and loved it, so I picked this up on Black Friday for $15, and it was worth every penny and then some. One of the few games I buy and power through just because I can't put it down. The nice thing is, unlike most story-driven games, there's so much interesting post-game content that it's a game I don't feel the need to sell or trade-in.

The DLC that comes with the game is great. The Catwoman stuff adds a lot to the story, and her fighting style is a nice change of pace. I wouldn't buy the Robin and Nightwing stuff separately, but they bring a nice variance to the challenge maps (where you just see how many baddies you can beat up).

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but it's a top-notch game. The fighting system is really revolutionary in it's simplistic complexity, and should be mimicked by more games.

HALO 4 - 9/10

Just finished the single player last night. Probably the most fun I've had with Halo SP since the first 2 games. I don't really love the new enemies, but I understand they had to switch it up.

Multiplayer is multiplayer. I wish the customization options were better, but its still enjoyable.
