Video Games you just Quit
In contrast to the video games you just finished thread, here's one for games you just couldn't get through and quit.
The Last Story (Wii) Pretty solid RPG. The characters are pretty interesting and really shine, but the complaint surprisingly enough is the story. Its so cliche it hurts my brain. I just tried playing the game again today, and for a second time I had the same "bad guy" douche bag show up and be like "Why's that guy dead? You killed him. Ha ha! You're going to jail." Its ridiculous. Progress the story..... get framed and go to jail, only to prove your innocence.... scheming bad guy gets mad, vows revenge......progress the story...... get framed again and go to jail, turn off console and never play again. It's like a special needs child wrote the story. I just got to the point where I thought, you know what? **** it. I'm not forcing myself through this trash anymore. Which is a shame, because everything outside of the cliche moments is great. Its just way too prevalent to make me want to grind through it.

Re: Video Games you just Quit
I'n ****ing notorious for this.
Mass Effect (Xbox360) - It held my interest for around 6 or so hours, during that time I was like, '**** yeah, this is pretty good'. The game itself was good, I just went away for a couple days and on my return, I really had no interest in carrying it on.

Re: Video Games you just Quit
I used to do that crap all the time when I would just go to a store and buy games on impulse. Then I'd get home and realize that I had bought a really crappy game. It's a lot better to put in some homework or let other people figure out that a game sucks before you blow 40 or 50 bucks on it.
