I don't know who the mastermind behind infinity slayer is, but he needs to be killed and removed from the gene pool ASAP. Most indefensible thing ever put into a Halo game, and I'm the chairman of the '**** armor abilities' club. To be honest I'm pretty sure large chunks of this game went untested by 343 prior to release. If they did, they're idiots for not picking up on the glaringly obvious design flaws.
It's just like Reach in that the game has so much potential, but a few big issues just cripple it, and 343 will be probably be too stubborn to do address any of it. Last edited by Floods; 11-08-2012 at 05:49 PM. |

That's what I just playing. 3 games, I went at least +10 in each of them. But at least half of my deaths happened because I ran out of DMR ammo. There are no weapons on the map, so your only hope of restocking on ammo is looting dead bodies, which are almost always in very vulnerable areas. In my case it gets worse, since almost everybody uses the BR, not the DMR. A handful of my other deaths were thanks to ordnance/killstreaks. Some guy literally spent the whole game sitting in his base on Valhalla, and ordnance drops kept giving him binary rifles (one shot kill sniper weapon). Bullshit. Meanwhile I get my ordnance, and my options are concussion rifle, needler, speed boost. Gee, thanks.
Big team battle has so much potential, since the maps are actually good unlike the small maps (Solace is ****ing terrible). Hate to see this happen to it. At least the menu music is good. Last edited by Floods; 11-08-2012 at 11:43 AM. |

Love the multi now. Games are shorter, and when you die you don't have to wait. The waiting's always been my main issue with the series. It broke up the action.
Played like 5 games, and only been down my 1st game. Kept going +10. Went on this ice map for the 1st time, went 22-1 and I'm not even good. So many people suck at this. Caught a guy just checking out the horizon. 5 shot another guy before he even moved. lol Floods...when you don't get a cannon, get the power-up. Speed boost is beastly with auto weapons.

Has anyone been playing spartan ops? The first batch of missions they released after launch were okay, but now they're in the middle of releasing the second wave of missions, and they're excellent. They're basically shorter campaign missions in (mostly) brand-new environments. And unlike campaign you can use your custom loadouts.
Campaign itself is a lot better than I originally thought. Once you start to memorize the ammo caches and the types of enemies you'll face in a given area, it's easier to just play without having to budget your shots. It's like Halo 1 in that it's the most fun on legendary. I've given up on multiplayer. It's awful. I can't play it without getting pissed off. |

The new map pack is really good. It's gotten me into multiplayer again.
Grifball was fun in Halo 3 as a double XP playlist. Ever since it's been pretty boring IMO. Then again I suck with the grav hammer.
