Hopefully he is somewhat consistent. If he is I will not think those people that said we could get to the confernce finals are so crazy.

Welcome to the board ThiTo!
I'll admit that by the end of the year last year, I was really full of doubt.
In this case, I'll gladly eat some crow... fried, baked, crow stew... I don't care, just keep playing like this

hey thanks man... i was invited by NorthEast Wiz who posted on the extremeskins.com MB... Skins are my 1st love, but the Wiz are right there too... also a big Terps fan, just another reason why draft day (and last night) are definitely reason to celebrate...

I heard he really worked hard during the off season, mainly on his post moves and rebounding. So far soo good and it looks to have paid off for now. I agree consistency is the key, keep in mind he's still a Kid growing and maturing into the game and improving as he plays. I like what he's done thus far, very impressive in the post and in rebounding on both ends.

But I thought Ric Bucher said he wasn't working hard?

2 games soo far, and he's looked good. He looks more active and confident. if Ric Bucher says he's not working hard from what he's done soo far, I can only imagine what he can do when he starts to work a bit harder. His actions speak for itself.

Wow is all I can say after attending last nights game wow, Kwame does things so effortlessly that it's stunning I was sitting next to a couple of guys last night who are from Georgia who says they watched Kwame play summer ball the summer between his junior and senior year of highschool and they told me that they were stunned at the player they saw play for the Wizards last year they said the athlete they saw last night is the one they saw all that summer, They also said we haven't even seen his ball handling skills yet that this kid has a great handle.
The kid is a great athlete didn't look like it last year but it sure does now, all those prognosticators who said he was a bust sure sound stupid now.

Just another reason why we all should take espn reporting with a grain of salt.
I mean why would Brian James lie when he said Kwame was working hard on his game?

Very nice showing last night, and I liked what he said w/ the half-time reporter. Mentioned changing his diet and being more calm on the court. I also saw him on a program this summer where he was learning yoga. Kind of funny seeing someone his size doing weird yoga posses while palming a basketball. Maybe Chandler and Curry should look into that.
Also, after watching the spanking that the Wiz put on the Celts last night, I'm much less thrilled about the Bulls win against them the night before. Looks like the Celts are going to really struggle to start-off this season, especially if Twan doesn't show up.
Jordan's done a nice job rebuilding this team, you all have good reason to be excited this season and into the future.

Ah, I was just about to label him as a bust and then he opens the year with back-to-back awesome performances. Washington might have their PF of the future in Brown, which is saying alot, because the sky is the limit for Kwame. Nice to see another big-time big man developing out in the East, that's a rarity.

Actually, I kind of envision him as the center of the future, with Jeffries being the PF of the future, but I could be completely wrong

I agree Mikedc I see Kwame as a center and the guy some of his moves and quickness remind me of is Hakem, I also see JJ as our starting pf Kwame's going to be very big and strong another 3-4 years of hiting the weights he'll go easily from around 250 now to 270

It'd be great to be a Wiz fan knowing that this kid has so much better things ahead of him. These few games are just the tip of the iceberg with him. Hopefully he stays with the Wiz in a few years and brings them many years of success
