I didn't think we played as badly as we could have. Obviously, the main concern is our point guard play. Hughes and Lue are both guilty of excessively pounding the ball and stagnating the offense.

Kwame played how I expected him to play. His 2-10 was decieving because most of his shots were tip ins or follow ups that rolled out. About 3 of his misses were jacked up because of the shotclock wiinding down (off course from Lue and Hughes' pounding). He grabbed 14 rebs and blocked/altered alot of shots, so IMO he played pretty well. Haywood played well in his few minutes. Jeffries turned the ball over a few times too many.

We could have won this game. the 3rd quarter was our undoing. We couldnt make a shot, and coupled with poor officiating, we lost our lead at the half.

I was really disappointed with the outcome of this game. Just alot of bad luck, bad calls, and bad shooting (by both teams). Ugly....

Not really that negative although I mayt have come off that way, I take alot of positives away from the game in that we played the best team in the conference nose to nose all game, Kwame I agree Local just couldn't get his tip-ins to go I liked his rebounding though he really needs some help on the backboards.

Hughes I just don't see it working, I was one of those that thought it possibly could work and it may turn around but really how many shooting guards do you know that can make that transition,Kidd I thought was the best player on the court tonight as MJ said later we got back in the 1st half but the 2nd half our turnovers lead to too many fastbreaks, had Lue played more we may have gotten one tonight.

Overall I just felt we should have won this game, our defense has been stellar in every game and it comes back to poor shooting which seems to be our achilles heal, our 2 best scorers MJ and Stack are just basically 40% shooters losing Davis, Whitney and Rip have really hurt us early here but I think we'll make the adjustments as long as our Defense remains stout. Playing the Nets at home I don't think expecting to get a W is way too far fetched. We have the makings of being really good.
