Jkidd a Wizard
I was reading where Jkidd was on the trading block. The article said that the Nets want a young pg in return.
Would you trade Arenas for Jkidd.
Consider this. Jkidd has a knee injury thats being shrouded in mystery I think because they don't want teams to think he's damaged goods .
They might know something is more serious with his knee and are trying to unload him.
Jkidd loves Eddie Jordan and he knows this system we run better than anyone.
Add a Jkidd to our team with the size we have and we could become a favorite in the east to win it all.
But will the injury doubts cause the CURSE to flare up and have us dragging around a limping Jkidd while Arenas matures and surpasses him as a player.
Even if we got our doctors to say he was healthy I'd be weery, Hell we need to fire our doctors anyway come to think of it no one should EVER trust our doctors.
We were the ones stuck with Lorenzo Williams (ouch). Loy Vaught.
I would consider this. I think Eddie Jordan would love this. I think Ernie would be very hesitant because he talked Abe into paying for Arenas it would be like admitting the Arenas deal wasn't the right one. But I think if we could win and have sell-outs Abe would go for it.
I'd explore this. Jkidd is a game changer, he makes everyone better and has no ego about scoring.
The injury scares me though big time.

I say no.
I want a chance to watch a team grow without major change for 2 to 3 seasons. I will take losing and crying for that, but I don't want major upheaval.
Mitch Richmond made baby Jesus cry when he came to the Wizards as damaged goods. Kidd would be no different.

I tend to agree. Ernie said during the press conference that he's not certain we're not a really good team. He said its hard getting a feel with all the injuries. He said he favors continuity which is what you're saying.
I would just explore it, I can see that there isn't nothing but dread coming with this kind of move.

kidd for arenas
i would do this trade if possible, that is if the wizards make sure that kidd isnt going to be injured most of next season. Getting a true Pg like Kidd and having him run EJ's offense would be great. i think kidd would bring the best out of players like Kwame and jamison, even players like hughes would benefit too. I would predict 15 more wins next season for the wizards with kidd on their team then having arenas.

I predict the Wizards improving 15 games either way.

JKidd just had the Terrel Davis microfracture knee surgery. There is no way in hell the Wizards should go after him, when speed is pretty much his whole game.

I didn't know he had that surgery, I hear that surgery is like a crapshoot . The Foster kid from the Carolina Panthers came back from that surgery but it took a while . From what I understand not too many guys do well with it. Jkidd's career could be over with.
I heard Cwebb had something similar though I'm not sure.

Kidd has such a huge contract also. He's going to be making what, 15-20 million when he's 35? I would be he only has 2-3 years left as a top PG. I wouldn't be surprised if this surgery seriously sets back his career, we just saw what happened with Stackhouse and how he basically had to sit out a whole season.

Read about it here.
http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/inde...3890261820.xml
It explains what it is, who has had it, how long they were out, and why Kidd's is supposedly different.
Good luck to the Nets, I wouldn't touch this guy,

Yeah that doesn't sound good at all no matter how rosy they try and paint that.
I want no part of Jkidd.

If you think speed is Kidd's whole game, you are completely off.

It is what sets him apart from the pack. Of course he can pass, but it is painfully obvious that he is limited in a half court game. The Nets excel when Kidd keeps the other team on their heels. Take away his ability to constantly keep pressure on the defense, and force him to play a half court game, and he will be much less effective. I am not saying he wont be good, but at his gae and with his salary, no thanks.
