Nice effort all around. Too close for comfort at the end, but hey, it is the world champs we're playing.
Can't believe Stack got such a wide open dunk at the end. That was just sick.
Kobe's arms must have been tired from his 47 shots the night before
Haywood and Brown are really natural rebounders. They've got a knack for anticipation and pulling them down that you don't see in a lot of young players.

I thought that game was exciting; although I only got to see the 4th quarter, but it was closer than it needed to be.
Why defenders leave Shaw open is beyond me! He has one of the slowest releases I have ever seen, can't make a shot when guarded, always has to have wide open looks, and then Hughes & Lue leave him open. If they had done like Collins said - stay on him - the game wouldn't have been so close in that 4th quarter.
Shaw lifetime - 7 whole points per game should say it all.

You have to understand before every Wizards game, fate picks one random, usually low rung player, and makes him all world against the Wizards. They have to overcome it.

Lakers win this one BIG with Kobe going for a sick triple double with 50+ points.
I would also take the under because the wizards don't crack 70.

Damn, hope you didn't lay out big on those predictions. the bookies would buy another house based on your bets.

Great game by the Wizards, thought Collins outcoached Phil some especially at the end, Kobe had to guard either Stack or Mj so phil chose him to guard Mj which allowed Stack to avoid a dumb player in George who constantly makes mental mistakes ,Collins did a good job alternating defenders on Kobe which wore him down Wiz didn't collapse the Lakers just rallied, Shaw's done this sort of thing several times before with the defense focused on stopping Kobe,it left Shaw open tempting him to make shots and he did, great execution by the Wizards in the clutch great win . MJ showed again tonight why he's so great.
The Key point in the game was win Fox fouled out if he didn't Stack is probably played by Kobe instead of George and Kobe forces Stack to shoo a jumpshot instead of a dunk. Fox would've played MJ.

Yes, like Kendall Gill the other night.
Anyway, I would like to send a big <strike>"PHUCK YOU</strike>(no masking of profanity please) VERY MUCH" to the Lakers. I hate that team with a passion.

I had to counteract the bad juju Doggpound put on the Wizards. Trust me, he has that ability. Ask him about the blue jersey during the World Cup.
|
hahahaha, to explain if anyone was curious, BCH seemed to think the the USA's performance in the World Cup was influenced by the jersey I wore for the games (the blue USA jersey which they lost every game in) But I'm not the mush (from Bronx Tale) even though I did want to take the Wiz -4 last night BIG. Glad I didn't since they petered away the 10-12 pt lead they had.
Anyway, good win for the Wiz, I had to stop watching with about 5 minutes left, so I didn't see Stack's game winner. The Picture of it looks nice though

We begged you not to wear it. You wore it. They lost. You are the bad juju man.
