Lakers game
Wiz are getting a Lakers team that is on the last game of a three game road trip, and they played last night to OT.
Horry 44 minutes
Shaw 32 minutes
Walker 47 minutes
Kobe 46 minutes
George 39 minutes
Going to be some tired legs for the Lakers tonight, especially for Horry and Shaw since they are older.
They are also no doubt looking forward to just getting home for three days rest and the return of the Diesel next week.
Ripe for the picking right now, should be an easy win for the Wiz tonight.
I say Wiz by 15-20 points.......98-83
The real test will be at Cleveland tomorrow night.

I am not feeling good about this one.
Kobe will be motivated after last night, although if we continue to play solid defense and can hit some shots we can win.

Official Thread: Wiz vs. LA 11/8/2002
Not feeling good about getting to .500. We need to play team defense and shoot well. I say we play Kobe straight up with Russell for most of the game.

All the Wizards need to do is come out with intensity. That's it. If they don't, they'll end up in a 80-75 type game. If they do, they'll crush the Lakers.
The home crowd should help, but there are LOTS of Laker groupies in DC.

Did it a little opposite but it works.

Can't really comment on this thread this is an emotional game for me because I love both teams probably more important for the Wiz to win than the Lakers.
I'll offer these questions won't answer them but pose them. '
If Kobe neutralizes Stack's numbers can the Wizards count on someone else to step up and lead them, they've had trouble scoring. MJ could be Key to game.
Will Fox add a scoring threat for the Lakers or will he be too rusty to add anything.
Do the Wizards actually try going inside ,Kwame may have a chance to go for 20+ if given the chance against the weary Lakers.
Does Kobe get another 40 or possibly 50 against a stingy Wiz defense.
Will be here to talk about the Cavs game afterward.

If Kobe is really like-Mike, he'll come out with vengence tonight. The scary thing is Kobe did prove that he handled the tough situations well. Many people underrated Rick Fox's role on this Lakers team. Other than Shaq, Fox's absent had largely attributed to the team's struggling because his replacement -- Devean George, although a high-energy player and good scorer, doesn't run the triangle offense as well as Fox. You'll probably see a better flow of the Lakers offense tonight. But I like the chance the Wiz pull this one out tonight because, well, MJ knows the triangles.

Since Jackson is as smart of a coach as he is, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him sick Fox on Kwame to try and see if he can get in his head.

Pargo probably goes off for 20+ tonight, mostly from downtown.
We always get slapped by some random.

It would be worth it to lose to see this guy drop 20 and 10 on them.
btw-tonight's line is Wizards -3' or 4 depending on the book, and 179 o/u

Here is my official prediction:
Lakers win this one BIG with Kobe going for a sick triple double with 50+ points.
I would also take the under because the wizards don't crack 70.

Go wiz, looking forward for Kobe vs Stackhouse and not Jordan vs Kobe since Stack is the heart and soul of the offense.

I had to counteract the bad juju Doggpound put on the Wizards. Trust me, he has that ability. Ask him about the blue jersey during the World Cup.
Jordan looked good. Stackhouse was solid. Kwame looked solid.
Shaw was the random playing out of his mind, but at least we didn't fold.
