Official Thread: Wiz vs. Cavs 11/9/2002
We get the Cavs again. They will be throwing the press at us again at some point in this game.
I think we go over .500 for the first time in the season.

We had a high last night with the win, hopefully tonight we continue it, and come out fast. I think that is going to dictate how we play tonight, how fast we come out of the gate. If we struggle early, it may be a long night.
Clevland has enough talent to win these, and after last game we played them as well as the loss last night, they may be primed for a strong effort.

Nice win. I thought Hughes and Lue played extremely well. Nice to see Juan get some valuable playing time and he was quite productive. Kwame fought through some tough play and JJ was valuable also.
I'm feeling good about our team and the combination of youth and experience.

Nice win guys. You have to beat teams like the cavs when the chance comes and you did.

Nice performance off the back to back, you know I gotta say it what about Juan he played well in his 1st quality time of the season Kwame had a nice 4th quarter after struggling earlier, I think Collins is doing a good job coaching right now the plan he's laid out is working very well. Stackhouse for Rip has been tremendous I had no idea that Stack plays with this much effort on the defensive end, also he does the other things well like rebounding he should play in his Pj's cause he lives on the line. I really like his game. The team is playing good and I too like the direction the teams headed in.

Yeah jazzy, Stack does live at the line, which makes up for his inconsistent shooting, but you know? For some reason, Stack doesn't get all the calls when he goes strong to the hoop. I've noticed that on average, he gets about 3-4 no calls a game, regardless of whether he gets hammered or not. For example, last night Kobe and Medvenko fouled him before his buzzerbeater shot in the 3rd. Tonight when Miles was guarding him, he got hammered a couple times and got no calls.
Its like the refs are scared to call the same foul twice. Its unfortunate, because that could equate to about 4-8 more ppg.

Good point those foul calls could stop runs and keep the wizards momentum going in games your point is illustrated perfectly I thought in the Minesota game he dove to the hole a couple times in the 4th quarter of that game and didn't get any calls which could have gotten the Wizards that victory the Wiz stiil have to steal one to make up for the game they lost against the Timberwolves.
