Jamal a Wizard, would you do it?
Jamal Crawford seemed to be at the bottom now and could use a true point with some height for the future. He may not get much more playing time here but it would be worth a shot.
Would you do any of these which work under the salary cap. Now would be a good time to pull the trigger on this.
Jamal for Haywood
Jamal for Etan Thomas
Jamal for Tyronne Lue
Haywood would seem like the only one the Bulls would not should) go for to me. Would we?

First off Jamal would have to be older than both Etan or Haywood for the Wiz to even consider it. It goes against their "trade a young big man for an older guard" theory.
Joking aside, I'd do it for Lue, but not the other two guys.

Wizards should have Navarro coming in next year. However he is not under contract and the players we do have under contract for next season and that are not likely to opt out are Dixon, Hughes, and possibly Russell who can play a little bit of SG. That makes us fairly thin projecting into the future. But, iff Navarro comes we basically have 3 combo guards in Dixon, Hughes, and Navarro. I would think Jamal is more of a combo guard himself not solving anything.
About the only guys I would want to move for Crawford are Jahidi, Laetner, Varda, or Cardinal. Hopefully a true PG can be addressed in the offseason, but Hughes has been looking better at that spot and I seriously doubt Crawford would have been able to play as well defensively as Hughes has been for us.

I agree with this and the players BCH mentioned to be traded Jahidi and Laetner would be my bets. I just like the kid Crawford he has great potential that could be cultivated under MJ and Collins, but I doubt Krause and MJ get together and make a deal just doesn't seem likely.

Unfortunately neither L8 or Jahadi works under the cap straight up for Crawford so we would have to get others in the mix which is doubtful.

If I was the Wiz, I'd do it for Lue.
No Big for Small trades though

Hughes and Crawford could be an interesting rotation at point guard if you were prepared to let Lue slip off the key next season
Crawford is in a shooting slump right now but on song represents a yin to Hughes's yang maybe
Hughes is a penetrator and defender and Crawford (IMO) has better vision/passing ability and is a better shooter. Both have good size .
The only way it could happen IMO would be to include ERob into the miz so that he matches off against L8 and have Crawford and Dixon match off for salary .
This would be compliant under the CBA.
We use L8 as a back up Center who would have a capability of playing pivot in triangle sets and we have A grade guy who has a big heart in Dix who could sub reserve minutes for Jay as he learns transition to point guard and how to create for others as well as himself.
