Official Thread: Wiz vs. Grizz 11/23/2002
This team is not as bad talent wise as thier record. No way we lose. We get back over .500 with this win.

I think we win this one. Memphis is on their way to a win, but I doubtit happens tonight. They need one more week with Hubie.

The Wiz are terribly inconsistent with their offense and their defense isn't top notch either, but with the talent they have I'm sure it will come together, I just hope its in time to make the playoffs. I have a bad feeling about tonight, I think the Grizz might get #1 tonight against the Wiz I hope not but it's a feeling I have

I have been hoping that they get a win before they play us. I have a bad feeling to but I think we pull it out.

I hope we can turn this into a positive. I need to think about this one a little. Stack was obviously off. Collins baffles me sometimes with his substitutions.
I look for the starting line-up to change pretty soon if only to shake some guys up. I would recommend JJ for Russell to start. Good things happen when JJ is in there.

I agree with that. They are very talented and they play hard. They just need to put it all together.

Stackhouse was god awful.
Bench his *** and start MJ!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, i think maybe it is time for Mike to start at small forward. Russell has been as inconsistent as can be, and Jeffries is definitely not ready yet.
At least this shows the WIz management that this team isnt good enough, and that a trade needs to happen.

This loss was devastating , I have to reevaluate my thoughts on Rip for Stack while I still consider us winners in that trade I now realize that Stack plays in alot more spurts than Rip does who performs more consistently throughout a game than Stack does who runs hot and cold, on nights were he's off he doesn't even look to share the ball and thats disappointing, tonights loss just wasn't about him but also the whole MJ off the bench thing, I think we should either start MJ or start Lue at the point, move Hughes to the 2 and Stack to the three, we've got to get Russ out of the starting line-up, teams are sagging off of him so much that it jams up Stacks spacing and allows little driving lanes for Kwame.
Collins again was terrible , instead of having Kwame guard Swift who got brendan in foul trouble, he had Kwame on Gasol, he did a great job on him but Brendan could have offeseive rebounded the Grizz right out of the gym instead he struggled with fouls against the quicker Swift.
This was terrible we couldn't score 80 on the grizz, ouch, we are in serious trouble if changes aren't made, the first I'd suggest putting MJ in the starting line-up.
The refs jobbed us tonight on Gasols block of Kwame ,Kwame was fouled and thats messed up. I love Kwame's potential but he needs to start taking the ball to the hole stronger and stop laying it up soft and start slamming hard on people. I'm getting a little tired of his left hand layups and soft dunks ,just jam the ball hard for once.
