MJ needs more minutes. If this teams want to push for the playoffs they need MJ to be the leader. Stackhouse has done a good job so far this year, but it gonna take the greatest to get the youngster and vets to rally together.

mj needs to start! he has a nice touch so far (47% FG) and seems ready for 35 mins.
but also other changes have to be made. for example collins should start lue over hughes. lue and jordan seem to get along nice on the court.

If Jordan wants to play big minutes, it might as well be right now, until our young players get adjusted to their new roles. Then as the season progresses, he can see less and less minutes until the playoffs.

I think MJ knows his body better than anyone, and if he was capable of playing extended minutes for the majority of the season, he would. Personally, I think that he knows that if he pushes too hard too soon, something will give... and that is something no-one wants to see happen.
