All of the Wizards suspensions/injuries pretty much will be over by December. None of the injuries are season enders.
Chemistry problems?? The Wizards are starting to perfect the Princeton offense. That offense alone builds on the court chemistry. I was buying into the chemistry problems hype a little bit too, but the last 3 pre-season games I've seen the offense and it looks GOOD. The Wiz are going to be backdoor cutting defenses to death. Unlike say Orlando where Francis and Mobley can go one on one whenver they want, everybody touches the ball in the Princeton offense and it doesn't allow for one guy to dominate the ball. Arenas/Hughes/Jamison/Hayes/Haywood have shown alot of chemistry on the court. Haywood and Hayes have both improved over the summer.
When Kwame gets back, he gives the Wiz a low post threat. Does NY have a low post threat? No. Does Boston have a low post threat? No. Does Orlando have a low post threat? No. Does Toronto have a low post threat? No. Does Milwaukee have a low post threat? No. Does Philly have a low post threat? No.
Do any of those teams have depth at C and SF like the Wiz do? No.
Now please, look at the rosters for a second. In the East the Wizards have a top 5 backcourt and a top 6 frontcourt.
I will bring up your post in the middle of the season so Wizards fans can laugh at you.

Dude, the Magic have one of the worst PF/C combinations in the league. Cato is lazy and unmotivated, Battie is a quality backup, Declerq and Garrity both suck, and Howard is a rookie who will probably be inconsistent. The Magic have absolutely no low post scoring. At SF you have Turk who is an average SF and Hill who could go down at any time. Most smart fans would rank Orlandos frontcourt in the bottom 5-6 in the league.
Stacey Augmon WTF? I'm sorry, but 50 year old Stacy Augmon does not give the Magic 'depth'. The Magic's so called depth is a fabrication. Jameer Nelson is a rookie, you don't know how good he is. Bogans is ok, and as I said above the frontcourt is horrible. The only really good bench player the Magic have are Turk or Hill. The Wiz have Etan Thomas who led the league in rebounds off the bench, was 3rd in the league in blocked shots off the bench, and led the league in dunks off the bench. In other words, he's a top 5 backup C.

Please Preach to him Shangha. the Magic are gonna need 25+ alnostly nightly from the 1 and 2 to have a chance to win and hope they don't give up 25+ at the 1 and 2.
Matched up with the Magic.
at Guard I think we have the defensive edge, Hughes is a better defender than Mobley or Frnacis. Offensivey it could be a draw.
In the pain we have a big lead kwame and brendan one of the best frontcourts in the east defensively and offensively Kwame has the easy edge.
At sf Jamison is more steady and durable than either Hedo or GHill.
And on the bench Etan, Hayes, Peeler and Blake are better than anything the Magic have.

I believe the Wizards will somehome find a way to finish 32-50.
I think:
Jamison will be slightly disappointing.
Arenas will be once again on the cusp of being an All-Star if he could control his head.
Kwame will improve just enough to make you want to wait until next year.
Jarvis will hit a wall and lose his jumper sometime before the All-Star break
Jeffries will frustrate the hell out of every fan.
Blake will play well enough so the Wizards can't keep him.

i predict a top 5 team in the east and around a .500 record
Arenas will be an allstar, Jamison will be superb, and one either Haryes, Jeffries, or Kwame steps up big time

Re: Wizards fans Official predictons
Hilarious....I didn't make picks in this thread, but I had been calling for 40-45 wins before the season. I'm gonna see if I posted in another thread somewhere about this (don't even know if I was posting at the time, though).

Re: Wizards fans Official predictons
I think the only thing I got right in any of the prediction threads was that we'd finish second in the division.

Re: Wizards fans Official predictons
All my office mates were making fun of me because I kept going on and on about how good the Zards were going to be this year.
You could tell last year that when they got all their pieces together they were an extremely high-scoring team.
I definitely expected them to squeeze into one of the last two playoff spots just because the East is so lousy. I didn't count on Gilbert Arenas single-handedly winning about four games in the last minute, I think that's been the difference. And Larry got one and Antawn now has two.
Hm! Lots of clutch players on this team, who woulda thunk it.
