As a former Washingtonian, and avid Redskin fan as well, it's great to see the Wiz off to their great start. 2-0 is more significant when you consider both wins were on the road.

Couple of observations. I'm taking a wait and see on Dixon. I see alot of you have jumped on his bandwagon after most of you were dying to get rid of him all summer and into the preseason. I read in a thread that Hughes will be upset WHEN Dixon takes his minutes. Not gonna happen. Larry defends and can score. I know he wants to win more than anything and he told me this summer with Antwan there, his ppg would drop and that was fine with him. He took what? 11 Shots last night? perfect. You figure he will make 5 of those instead of three and get to the line 8-10 times a game. If Gilbert puts up his numbers, I think this team is playoff bound. I hope Juan continues to play like he has. We need his scoring off the bench. I agree with those who say Hayes could be special in a couple of years. My question is, when Haywood and Kwame come back, does Hayes sit? He also would provide great offense off the bench.

Everyone needs to cut down on turnovers especially Gil. He is a risk-reward player though. Be glad to get the bigs back.
