I've seen one real area of improvement in Arenas and its the mid range shot, he hit a couple the other night, if he has that in his bag now its over he's gonna really be deadly.
That crossover he put on Wade at the top of the key was nasty. Arenas's off the dribble drives are a thing of beauty.
Had he started agressive he may have gotten 40 points himself.
The team needs him agressive. Agressive doesn't just mean taking bad shots but the team needs him to draw the defense.
There's no way Shaq can cover him in the pick and roll if we get Shaq caught up in it.

I'd really like to see Gil take more three's though, and i'd like our team to start of the game hot.

That crossover was weak, Wade was trying to get a steal.
If you would like to call it a nasty crossover, Wade over Snow was 10times better.
Wade will still have the same type of Impact in this game, even last year he was doing good agaisnt shot blockers.
I think Wade will score 29pts 9 assist and 3 steal 5 turnovers vs. Arenas 19pts, 10assist,7turnovers.
Also expect Shaq to come with vegence and start picking his game up. 30pts, 12rebounds 4 blocks.

You can dream if you wish, Wade got crossed up everyone who gets caught often are caught trying to steal the ball so it means nothing to say that.
Having Haywood back makes a big difference to OUR interior defense I know you may wanna feel like Wade is superhuman but Haywood in the hole will make it waay harder for Wade to get lay-ups. The only ones he'll consistently get are the ones he gets on the break.
You must have not been paying close enough attention to the way Shaq is playing and his health. He won't get 30 unless he's back to full health which is doubtful.
I do think he'll be better than last game though.

Your completely right about Wade. We have haywood in the middle now, he will make Wade take mor jump shots and miss. He'll be out of this game, only 12 points or so and very poor shotting.
Shaq on the other hand will definately have a good game, maybe even spectacular. Lets just hope it's "good"

We've had about as ugly an opening 40 seconds as possible.
Great shot by Arenas though to end that though He actually crossed up Wade -- thought that was impossible.

Our offense was out of whack for the last 7-8 minutes of the first quarter. We aren't going to win many games with our defense, so we need to right the half of the game that we excel at if we want to take this one.
Hughes and Jamison combining to go 3-13 isn't very good to say the least. Feeling like a broken record here, but Arenas needs to do more on offense. He's only attempted one actual shot (one was a trapped-in-the-corner rushjob, and one was a lob that no one jumped for), and that's just not nearly enough. Do something Gilbert!

I've seen some pretty bad goaltending calls on clean blocks before, but none quite as bad as that goaltending non-call
Feeling like a broken record (again), but as bad as it looks like we're playing, we're only down 4 at this point. I'd really like to see us actually take a lead; it'd be nice to be the team always up by a few points as opposed to always being down by a few points for once.
