Official Thread: Wiz vs. Bucks 12/3/2002
We get a little home cooking with MJ starting against a team we should beat.
I think win win here.
By the way, I'm sold on fried turkey. Gotta hit the gym.

I think we get off this losing streak here ,this week could be really tough with Detroit and Orlando coming. I think the Wizards respond this week with a couple good wins. The Bucks are tough and can score. They just blew out Detroit so it won't be easy. I think Hughes size against Cassell will be key he's killed the Wizards in the past, without Allen the Wizards should win.

The Wizards are almost out of their funk. I think they are ready to go on a decent 5 game stretch here and that they will win this contest.

The Wiz is going to win vs. the Bucks ... With Jordan starting now .. the team can start off quickly ... Juan getting hurt 2day is going to hurt but it gives their other players to step up like Hughes and Lue ... Wiz take this one ... 95-87

It's time for us to start a winning streak. We have these games coming up:
12/3 Bucks
12/4 @ Detroit
12/6 @ Orlando
12/7 New York
12/10 Portland
We need to win all of our home games and get one of the road games.

At the end of the first quarter I like this rotation. Kwame has un-earned his starting position. L8 gave them good minutes. I also like Etan getting some time. Good things happen when he is in there.
MJ +/- must be like +15 at this point.

One of the best halfs of basketball we have played yet. This should be our formula. A mix of shooting jumpers, driving to get to the line and having our big men scrap for points.
Etan should post up at least five times per game. He can do that baby hook with either hand.
I'm still surprised at no JJ.
If MJ's knees can hold up all season it should be fun again.

Finally the Wiz win After work i'm going to watch this game (i had a feeling the wiz would pull this one out) I'm hoping that we can be consistent and play this well against Detroit ... Stack still is not finding any consistency w/ his shooting but i'm happy w/ the contributions of B. Russ and Etan thomas ... i also like the fact that the wiz was sharing the ball w/ 25 asst (4 each for Jordan, Stack, Hughes and Lue) ... Good win!

Kwame has benched himself. He just doesn't seem to want to be out there. He looks uninterested.
I like Haywood and Laetner starting with Kwame and Etan off the bench. This is a good rotation. However, I cannot stand when Oakley is in the game. I do not understand why he insists on giving that loser minutes that Kwame/Etan should be getting. His "veteran experience" is so overated compared to the many rebounds and shots he misses.
The only thing he did that was remotely good was baiting Thomas into getting a tech. Thats it.

I agree and I think it is almost a given now that the Wiz win their home games and 1 on the road.
PS) I think Kwame hasn't adjusted to the rigors of the NBA - meaning how certain officials call the game. When he does, he and Haywood and Etan will be paint powerful!

Cheap victory but I'll take it. Don't like Kwame's minutes being demoted but oh well anything for a victory I guess not really enthused by the win wasn't a really good team to beat .expected to win this one.
