OT: Keys to team success

I was recently thinking about what kind of players create a good team. Because it is clearly not just talent, ie the chicago bulls. And i thought about what would the perfect team consist of. Here's my list position by position.

PG: A pass first point guard with the ability to drive and a good range. Very quick with the ability to go on a fast break well.

SG: A 3 point specialist pure shooter who has a good FG% and can knock down an open 3 at any time. A smaller player around 6'3" with the ability to jump high.

SF: A relatively tall defensive minded small forward who can block shots and get some steals. A guy who can nab long rebounds, a smart player, a veteran.

PF: A nasty Defensive rebounder who takes mostly dunks and is able to step out and make a mid range jumper consistantly.

C: A tall, Offensive minded center who can give you 25+ a game with an incredible ability to block shots and shut down drivers.

2 Bench players i like to call spark plugs.

1: A combo guard who is a shoot first guy who takes chances and gets some steals. Exceptionally fast and has the ability hits 3's while guarded.

2: A tall PF/C with a knack for offensive boards. Putting up easy shots and making a good pass on occasion.

Team that could fit this mold:
PG: Jamaal Tinsley
SG: Brent Barry
SF: Shawn Marion
PF: Kurt Thomas
C: Tim Duncan

Combo guard: Jamal Crawford
PF/C: Mike Sweetney

Any thoughts? I think this is a good formula for success personally, but you can make your comments.

Trying to generally use the criteria you put forward, here's a team I'd go for, steering clear of just picking a bunch of all-stars:

PG: Mike Bibby
SG: Rip Hamilton
SF: Shane Battier
PF: Carlos Boozer
C: Yao Ming
BG: Marquis Daniels
BF: Chris Wilcox

Off the top of my head, so it might not be perfection, but I'd certainly take that team. Lots of secondary stars there (maybe one too many?), the type of guys who are like super role players. Yao is the focal point, and screens are set a la the Pistons to get open outside shots for Rip and Bibby off of him. Boozer is the rough and tough banger that Yao would play so much better with. Battier is the glue guy, doing a bit of everything to make the team work together just a bit smoother. Daniels can cover the 1-3 and Wilcox the 4-5 off the bench.

I may trying coming up with my own criteria and a team to fit later on.

I thought i picked a relatively buyable team, not all superstars, i didn't think it was unrealistic to have marion and duncan on the same team.

I really think this is a good formula, I think the closest NBA team to it is probably the spurs.

PG: Tony Parker
SG: Manu Ginobli
SF: Bruce Bowen
PF: Rasho Nesterovic
C: Tim Duncan

Combo Guard: Brent Barry
PF/C: Robert Horry (okay, maybe not such a good fit)
