Surprisingly a low scoring game between these two teams. Wizards up 28-26 with just under 5 minutes to go in the half.

I don't know which updates you've been checking, but from what I've seen at least ESPN has been way off on theirs. They had the score in the high 30's with seconds left in the first half, when in fact it is actually 52-44 Sixers (probably 50-44 or so at the time).

Tough call on Haywood to start the third. We're going to need either one of or preferably both of the guards to start doing something on offense here.

I see we're leaving Haywood in with the 4th. Not a strategy I approve of; it's okay with a smart star who knows just how to keep from picking up that extra foul, but with someone like Haywood, I can't imagine him not getting his fifth.

As I say that though, he manages to get two offensive boards and two baskets. Still a risk I'm not big on, but at least we've gotten a little something out of it.

I'm looking at Yahoo, is it right?

Heh anyone want to guess how long Jamison has to be with the team before the announcers lose their amazement with his inside shooting technique? He can't shoot an inside shot without them ooh-ing and ahh-ing.

Nope. Right now it says 52-44 with 6:58 left in the third. It's actually 63-55 with 6:32 left in the third. NBA.com has been right I believe so far, so if you're following the game that might be the way to go.

ESPN and Yahoo are way off. I don't know who is keeping track of their scores. ESPN reports 59-56 Wizards and NBA.com reports 74-72 Sixers. NBA.com is right.

I was getting ready to say a combination of "Nice to see you finally show up Arenas" and "Excellent way to close out a quarter, cutting 12 down the 2" ... but those got kind of off base in the last 45 seconds or so. This is the type of game that isn't going to be easy, not by a long shot, but is well within our grasp. We can do it as long as we keep calm and play hard.

Jamison has been fantastic tonight; not just like every other game, but especially fantastic. Just throwing that out there, because he's a huge reason we're right in it instead of down double digits.
