Why is this important? Because we were a much better team when he was playing well as the backup PG. Much like Haywood's play, Lue has a subtle way of impacting the game and when he is playing well, the Wizards are a much better team. If Lue is unable to hit his shots, he is useless pretty much. I am fairly down on the guy at this point.

Have to agree his slide began coincidentally when Dixon started to play well and he can't seem to get himself out of the funk. He seems scared to shoot the ball and doesn't seem to have any confidence. I think Dixon play signaled to him uh oh I may lose pt and its stripped his confidence. He should be trying to get it back by being agressive we need his bench scoring. While Dixon is out he can reestablish his place in the rotation but if it continues when Juan comes back Lue may catch some pine time. I don't know whats going on with him.
Its because he isn't playing with Jordan anymore. No more open looks and easy assists. Lue now has to play with Russell, Oakley, Etan and other guys who cant score, so all the burden falls on him to create.
Lue is pressing right now hopefully yesterdays hard practice will give him some confidence. He does play with MJ the problem is he's become to tenative out there.
