Looking at the stats on ESPN, Jamison takes 20 shots per game. He's top 10 in the league in shot attempts per game and he still doesn't even lead the team in scoring. I think he's fallen off a lot lately, but I hope his number of shot attempts per game gradually comes down.

Jamison is not a franchise player. He'll be their for you from quarter 1-3, and about 8 minutes of the 4th. The difference between a good and franchise player is being able to take the pressure shots for your team, and that guy is Arenas. Jamison does get a big head often as far as taking a few too many shots, but it's not a big detriment. I think watching the Wizards vs. the Lakers the other night, where Kobe was just throwing it up cause he could, you can see the difference between a little something a coach rolls their eyes at and a serious problem.

Would you guys say this is a good rough shot breakdown for Jamison:
* 6 midrange (15-20 foot) jumpers
* 4 inside post ups
* 3 slash and catch and float
* 3 three pointers
* 2 fast break interior shots
* 2 offensive rebound putbacks
I was trying to point out that he is in no way a big man post type option on the main board, at least not on our team, and I posted that breakdown. Just wondering how accurate (remember that it is just general estimation) you guys say it is.

Give 1 to the slashes, take 1 from the 3s, I think thats fairly accurate.

He actually does average 2.9 threes a night. That's the one I was sure of

Oh. It doesn't seem like he takes many 3s at all during the course of a game.

Regardless, he's definitely not a big man post option. He can go down low from time to time, but I don't call him a PF by any stretch of the imagination. I'd like to see the following lineup:
PG Arenas
SG Hughes
SF Jamison
PF Brown
C Haywood
I say we ride that lineup and see what happens.

As would I. I think Jamison can guard any SF in the league without being blown by (at least a lot). Kwame needs to be put back into the starting rotation without taking out any of the 'Big 3' so Jeffries needs to sit on the pine and brag to his future children about how he once started for a good team.

I think the offense should run through Kwame. It seems like whenever he gets the ball early in possessions the Wizards score.
