Our shooting percentage went from 41% to 48% over the course of the final quarter. That's more than just a little bit of fire.

Second game of 50% or better shooting on the season.

As I said in my original post, Hughes owns the Nets this year, and in general is playing out of his mind good.
Arenas played unaggressive the whole game until a few minutes left in the 3rd when he just went off. He had like 13 points and 3 steals in 3-4 minutes, it was amazing.
Jamison...well it's clear as day that he's overrated if he makes the All-Star team this year and Gilbert or Larry don't. He's just there, he scores in the flow of the game, and he's sort of a glue guy.
HAYES, my god his shot was actually falling tonight (although he took some stupid shots).
Good all around effort from EVERYBODY tonight. Hopefully Blake is alright.

Best game the Wizards have played in 3 weeks.
Got alot more people involved tonight.
We basically wore them down. Jkidd was killing us in the 1st half but wore down.
I thought the whole key to the game was Arenas , he got going and went on one his spurts got 14 points in like 4 minutes. Wow that sorta broke the game open.
Hughes got it going then Hayes who was huge got it going, Dixon gave us a 3 and Blake gave us 2.
There was a sharing of the ball tonight.
Nets just got wore down. They can't play with us at the high tempo.
Vince Carter was killing us though. He couldn't be stopped for a stretch in there.
Arenas was the key though.

We got A LOT of pub on ESPN NBA Nation after the game. Stephen A. sat down with Arenas, Hughes, and Jamison. They all talked about the great team chemistry we have and they all seem content letting each other do their thing. They all spoke about the winning attitude that Jamison, Peeler, and Walker have brought to us. Jamison agreed that it's going to be important to get good production from Kwame and Brendan and Etan. They all agreed that "deep playoffs" is the goal right now.
We're finally starting to get some pub, guys!
One thing later on the show pissed me off though....they were doing "Put up or shut up" and one of the guys (Greg Anthony, I think) said the Wizards will get the 4 seed. Then, Ric Bucher responded by saying the Wizards wouldn't be close and would be lucky to get in the playoffs. He said we have 10 of 15 games on the road in March and we're coasting on an easy schedule. My message to Ric Bucher:
Hello!! We have played 15 home and 15 road games so far so if we have 10 of 15 on the road in March, that means we'll have a bunch of home games at some point!!!! IDIOT!

Yeah Ric Bucher tried to clown us on NBA Nation, I'm not sweatin that cause since my boy Greg Anthony gave us mad props.
When Jeffries/Hayes/Dixon/Haywood contribute like that this team is very good.
Seattle is going to be tough on Thursday.

We're going to get a chance to prove to the country how good we are on Seattle. I still feel like we're not getting respect from the officials, especially the last few games. If we get a big win against a team like Seattle, we might start getting more calls.

Bucher used to be the Wizards beat reporter years ago so its not a surprise he'd diss the Wizards.
I think if we get completely healthy a 4th seed is a real possibility. But we're gonna need real good health starting after the allstar break.
Miami
Detroit
Indiana
These are the ones fighting for that 4th seed.
Wizards
Cavs
Magic
Nets
Knicks
We could get that. Maybe.

Actually, we're going to have to beat out Detroit or Indiana to get the 4 seed because of the new division format, which is why I think a 5 seed is more likely.

I was given very last minute tickets to this game for a corporate event and Georghe Muresan came up to our box to say hello. If you don't remember, he is 7'7". I'm tall, but he towered over me. Said he wears size 20 shoes. Very outgoing guy.
Best highlight of the game- the Wiz are making a run, but Travis Best comes up with a loose ball. Gilbert chases him down from behind, steals the ball, then turns to the hoop and dunks it. Everyone in the crowd saw it coming.
We've got a very fun team to watch, I recommend that everyone try to get out to a game this year.

You gotta imagine Nelson is drooling at the thought, as Peja could help him inch closer to his dream of averaging 300ppg.
