I'm predicting this will be a fantastic game to watch. I'm expecting 110 points from the winning team. The matchups across the perimeter are all excellent- Arenas/Kidd, Hughes/Carter, Jamison/Jefferson. No defense whatsoever. I'm wondering if Hughes will lock into to Carter (which is he is absolutely capable of doing), or if he will simply try to outscore him.

Plus, I'm eagerly awaiting the battle between a couple of superb post men, Michael Ruffin and Jabari Smith. When those two get together, you can throw out the record books.

We should win this game. New Jersey has nothing on the inside so Haywood and Kwame, if he plays, should look to have big games.

Problem is, we don't take advantage of matches on the inside. If we play Kwame and Haywood together, focus on making an effort to get them the ball on offense, reward them for active play on defense -- then I'm with you, they could and should have big games that lead us right to the winner's circle. I don't see any reason why that would happen though; I expect us to fully continue to do what we can to make things difficult for ourselves.

I predicted a loss earlier, but I also predicted wins in the Boston and Detroit games. Maybe "fortune" will stay on my side and we'll take it? I'm saying no -- game is one of those that is close throughout, Nets pull away in closing minutes for an 8-10 point win.

Seriously what kind of an advantage do we have inside against New Jersey, or any other team for that matter ?? I predict a close game Wizards winning by 5-8. Our poor defense is the main problem.

On the fence about this one. Arenas has an edge over the still gimpy Kidd that'll be the key. Can Arenas win his match-up clearly or just barely. If he just barely outplays Kidd the Nets win if he clearly does the Wizards win.

I think a double figures game by Haywood could be key also to me thats always the barometer big man numbers. When Haywood gets double figures we play our best ball and he could get that against these Nets.

VC and RJ are gonna be a big problem.

I expect a real razor thin win.

Big 3 gets 60 in a 2-3 point win.

RJ won't be a problem, Hughes absolutely shut him down last time and held him to like 2 points.

I think that was more fluke than anything. I don't expect it this time around but it would be nice. to think he could do it again.

Possibly, Hughes also dropped 33/10/10 on Carter the last time we played. Maybe their both flukes but the bottom line is that Hughes has owned both Vince Carter and the New Jersey Nets this year.

Strong stuff here by you.

I don't have half the faith you have in Hughes.

But you could be right we'll see.

I'm not really looking forward to watching this game because last time we saw only Richard Jefferson, and tonight we are going to see Jason Kidd and Vince Carter. I have a feeling that VC is going to torch us.
