Seattle shot the ball horribly tonight. They showed little signs of resistance except from Lewis and without him it would of been a serious blowout. We didn't do that great either on the offensive end we just play great defense(for us that is). We also played the way we like to play, which is quick and streaky.
Good win. Funny that Barkley was the one to predict us winning and not the other two.

Not that bad of a game. A win is a win, and this was a team that was in a position to lose to us.
Was anyone else hoping we would get Doug Collins as an announcer rather than Steve Kerr?

Good win.
About Hayes...he seems to be shooting much better the last few days, which makes a lot of sense. I read that he had an injury to his shooting hand that he was playing through early in the season so perhaps he isn't feeling that discomfort anymore.

One thing though, is Kwame is any kind of doghouse. I can't figure out if him coming in in the second half was just because Ruffin had 5 fouls or if he was healthy enough to play.
Is Kwame ever going to be a starter for us again?
I just can't help but feel that the signs point to him leaving. Does he really want to stay here where he's being treated like he isn't really a piece of the puzzle?

Very nice win for the Wizards, I can see the NBA fanbase gaining some respect for the Wiz after this nationally-televised game. They didn't just beat the Sonics, they controlled the entire game from the first quarter on. It's about team people take DC seriously...

Well we won. I think more of a case of a tired team than us really outplaying them. But I'll take it.
Kwame needs the darn starting spot back. EJ is trying to work him in slow purposely because he thinks the perimeter ball fast paced game is working.
Ray Allen being off helped.
Haywood again doesn't play in the 4th again. Its as if EJ doesn't want anyone to see the Kwame/Brendan line-up with Jamison at 3. Its our best line-up.
He fears us having to play slower and get the ball inside.
In the 2nd half of the season thats what we're gonna have to do.
I was really hoping Collins was the announcer. I wanted him talking about his former team although the team looks much different now.

I agree on the 1st part, but thought we defended poorly This was the first game I have watched (we can't get the NBA package where I live), and I though our defense on the ball was weak, especially Jamison and Hayes. Hughes is one of the best two-way players in the game and his on ball defending was very good. Am I wrong, or did he ever come out of the game? I know he played the whole 2nd half. Arenas is a very clutch player and he took over the last 7-8 min offensively. Very good win, and it is great to see this team with a great shot at the playoffs.

I totally agree. It is frustrating knowing how much better we could be.

A good win, regardless of what little side stories can be read into it. We beat one of the best teams in the league, on national television, with the announcers spending the entire game gushing about how much they liked us. Felt great to say the least.

Jarvis Hayes is finally showing signs of life. If he can keep playing like this Jordan will have to move Jamison to the 4 and start Hayes, no?

Is Jarvis Hayes a contender for the 6th man award???

No need to get nutty on Hayes. He certainly has played well in the past two games, but that's all he's done -- two games out of 31. Scoring 17 points on 52% shooting (6-7 threes) with 2 steals is certainly very nice, but don't let that make you ignore the other 29 games where he put up 9.4 points on 34.8% (13-59 threes) shooting.
If we can go another couple weeks with him shooting nothing more than 44% from the field and 36% from three, I'd be stoked. Doesn't matter how many points he scores (although more is better obviously); it's the shooting percentages that matter to me.
