Isn't Jamison clutch?
Nice to see Jeffries with the great defense in the end of games. Glad to see EJ finally noticed that Antawn was getting torched.

not sure about that. the sub for Hudson I think was Anthony Johnson? I'm not sure, but he was pretty consistent with his jumper tonight. Cassel wouldn't of helped that much.

Awesome D by Jeffries on the last play! I really didn't think we'd come back to win this one so props to the team...huge win!
Now, we should be rolling high and rested to beat Portland on Wednesday. And, hopefully Kwame will be back.

Cassell was 9 for 11 in the last game against the Wizards, when they beat them by 35; i think he would have helped.

You mean Anthony Carter. This was a quality, quality win for the Wiz. I really think this team is for real, but sadly Kwame is not going to be doing much for them.
Jared Jeffries has turned into quite the solid role player. I'm happy for him. I still think he has room to grow as a player, provided he stays healthy, but he's getting better and better, with each game IMO.

Honestly, I know there are better guards "on paper", but please-can anyone tell me how you keep Hughes and Arenas off the All-Star team. If the coach has watched anything this year, he would know. Arenas dumps in 40 and Hughes goes for 28-11-8. Larry has become an all-star.

True, yet IMO he can be a cancer for them at times with his poor attitude. The Wolves should be much better. On another thought, their bench had 4 players in double figures and another was a point away, whereas we got litte from ours.

What a comeback down 6 with 2 minutes to go.
Arenas was outstanding especially late. The big 3 pointer, the free throws the kid is money.
Jamison is a choking puppy dog. He has come up small so many times its amusing. Choked away 2 free throws that could have sealed the win.
Brendan Haywoods defense on KG tonight was key. He held KG down as far as scoring all game long.
We got murdred in bench points but the Big 3 killed them.
There was tons of great plays in this game. Arenas follow dunk, Hughes double clutch around KG, Hughes tip dunk was nice, Hughes's dunk on Khandi.
Hughes was good all around. He's attacking the basket like a madman he's taking it back to his rookie days dunking on folks.
Regarding Kwame HKF.
He didn't play because of his ankle. He's just not healthy its swelling on him after practices he can't get the swelling and soreness out.
He's gonna be needed in the 2nd half of the season when teams start attacking us inside.
And Ernie said the other day on the radio he's not trading Kwame and that this league is all about big guys and Kwame is very valuable to us once he gets healthy.
I didn't think we played all that well in total. We played no defense, and the bench was non existent. We can play better I expected an easier win quite frankly.
If Arenas isn't an allstar it would be a shame because he has been awesome most of this season. He's really attacking at will.

Whatever, if I were the Timberwolves, I would rather have Cassell on the floor. When he last played the Wizards, the T-wolves beat them by 35. While Cassell isn't a good defender, I don't think either Hudson or Carter adds much on the defensive end either. I think the T-Wolves missed Cassell today.

Hudson's defense is pretty **** good actually. coming off the bench apposed to last year when he started somewhat hurts his rhythm defensively but he still is good. not sure where you thought he wasn't a good defender.
doesn't really matter though. Arenas is too quick and powerful of a guard to defend off the dribble. hard to say if even Artest can guard him.

Yeah, I guess your right; still at least Cassell would make Arenas work on defense. Whatever, I'm happy the Wizards won.

Never overestimate the value of coaching. Eddie may have trouble with his sub patterns, but he knows his X's and O's and he knows how to communicate with his players. Like taking Gil to the NJ playoffs last year. Brilliant. Do you honestly think someone like Gar Heard could do this well?
Good win. I could care less about all of this 'no Cassell' b.s. Truth is this team hasn't had it's full lineup all year. I didn't hear Miami fans saying, "yeah..we beat the Wizards, but they didn't have all of their bigs healthy" In the NBA teams go without key players sometimes. Look what the Wizards did to the Grizz on opening night.
