I'm going to fly to Washington next Friday to visit a friend. He's living in Alexandria Virginia right now. Are there any cool sportsbars or something like that where we can watch the All Star Weekend?

I'm not a huge sportsbar guy so others may have more recommendations but you can try any Champions Sports Bar, most Damon's and of course ESPNZone in Downtown DC.

ESPNzone isn't bad for the sports side of things.
If you want a good bar I'd check out RFD 1 block down from the MCI Center on 7th.

I don't know too much about Alexandria, but you could hit up Mr. Day's in Arlington, which is a pretty cool place.

I think I'm going to take a look at the RFD. Their beer list is really impressive.....

Heck, I might check out RFD too...haven't been there before and I need a sports bar I an duck in fast to catch Duke-UNC right after the Spurs-Wizards game.

Magic hat #9 is pretty good, I'll have to give old speckled hen a try. I was upset monday night because they didn't have arrogant ******* ale on tap anymore

Should fit the bill pretty well. It gets pretty busy before Wiz games but afterwards, at least during the week, it seems to be pretty laid back.

If you like Boddingtons (which is on tap next door at Fidos) you should like Hen.
