The Pistons come to our place to face the hopefully angry Wizards.

We beat them in thier place the last time we played. We finish out December like this:

DEC 26 Detroit
DEC 28 Atlanta
DEC 30 @ Orlando
DEC 31 San Antonio

I think we get things going with a win here.

Wizards win this one. The Pistons played a tough Christmas game, and lost. They haven't seen their families, and they have to go on the road again. They just want to get basketball over with.

I hope your right. The Wiz need this one bad after two tough losses in Texas. Every game is important for them to keep pace in the playoff race. Hope MJ can show some holiday magic.

I feel the Wiz should cruise to a victory for all of the reasons KC gave. Plus Stackhouse is going to want to have a monster game versus his old team.

I think that this game will be a close one ... Rip is going to play really well against the Wiz ... First time back in DC ... he going to come out w/ his A game ... I think for the Wiz to win they need to continue playing good defense and do a good job on the Boards 2nite w/ former Wiz Ben Wallace out there ... Wiz win 87-83

Wizards will win...

If MJ/Stack/Back ups can prevent Barry, Rip and their other guards from getting easy shots, and if they can somewhat control the tempo, b/c they will need to run a little, and if they get some 2nd chance points. And I believe they Will.

Wizards: 96 Pistons: 88

Note: I feel sorry for Jefferies. This year would've helped him. I had hoped he could've been our SF next year. He has nice athletisism, and really keeps pounding on the boards, and keeping the rock alive.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! TOO many costly turnovers and the Wiz choke at the end ... These are the games that the Wiz need to win to get to the playoffs ... I'm disappointed by how this team can't pull out these victories ... They play decent defense (holding the Pistons under 40%) Outrebound them ...

Doug Collins coached the worst game of the season, he went to Oakley who essentially help seal the Wizards fate. Why are the Wizards playing the old Relics, their time has passed its time to turn the page, Laetner, Oakley, and Russell need to go to the pine. Kwame, Brendan and Etan need to be developed NOW. The Wizards were playing well early with the athleticism of Kwame and Brendan. Then they lose running screen downs for MJ and Stack. The Wizards need to go inside to Kwame, Brendan and Etan. Thats the only way the Wizards can make the playoffs. Trying to run the offense through two 40% shooters is ridiculous. They need to establish some inside presence if not they won't beat a team of quality all year. I firmly believe Kwame has some low post game and given more of a chance he could become a factor down low. I also believe that of Etan and were just wasting it. Trying to play from the perimeter is just not going to work.

MJ should have been facillitating and Hughes coming off screens, Curry wore Mj down and by the end had sapped all of MJ's quickness and timing forcing MJ into turnovers. Mj should have instead been playing out top setting up Hughes and Stackhouse instead. Very costly loss tonight.

When will Collins realize that Oakley was a good defensive player 5 seasons ago?

Frustrating...I hate losing to the Pisons because they are sooo average. however, it was good to see Kwame play like a man.

Hamilton's Revenge!

Terrible! MJ had a bad night handling the ball with a lot of turnovers. The Wiz are not a good 4th quarter team either that seems to be why they are losing their games.

Seems like Stack is the second option once again. I have no idea what play they were running at the end but I know that MJ's shadow looms over everyone.

We needed this win. They need to put together another string of wins.
